Members Danny Carlton
Within the next month or so I'll be getting a SSL cert for my server for a online shop I'm developing. I was wondering if this would create an opportunity for secure communications if I then placed the various message boards on the server to run through the secure server. Would ISPs in communist countries be able to monitor the data or would it be encrypted beyond their ability to decrypt? I have one sister-in-law in Vietnam and another in Russia, and while Russia isn't Communist anymore, they have been doing some decidedly anti-Christian things lately, especially with foreignors who are there in position conducive to mission work (namely teaching). Administrators Pastor Matt Posted January 2, 2008 Administrators Share Posted January 2, 2008 That is a good question, and one I do not have an answer for. Something tells me that even though you will be running your boards through a SSL Certificate, that they still can be monitored by governments. I'll ask around and see what I can come up for you. Members ericlw
I would say nothing is safe from prying eyes on internet, espically when you are talking about Russa.
