(2 Tim. 3: 16,17) Preparation: What I believe (collectively) ?doctrine? Biblical teaching of principles ?Reproof? that all have sinned. I am a sinner. ?Correction? Showing one the right thing to do. The right way. ?Instruction? Learning how to do the right thing; How to go the right way Not just the ?what? but the ?How?. Application: What I can do ?All things through Christ which strengtheneth me? (Phil. 4:13) All that which glorifies the Lord; this is my strength My Creed this is what I believe. My Conduct this is what I do. My Character is what I am. ?throughly furnished unto all good works.? (2 Tim. 3:17) I have all I need to do right. Thoroughly furnished is complelty furnished with the right stuff. It is all provided in the Word of God. All I need to do right is found in the Word of God. ?good works? Soul winning--the best work. Anything that glorifies the Father. We can do what we need to do to glorify God. My tools? Doctrine, reproof, correction, instruction. These are all I need to be effective. Soul winning: Doctrine??You are saved by grace, and not by works.? Reproof?Turn from sin to the Lord; repent. ?You are a sinner, in need of salvation ?Correction???Here?s what you need to do?
