Immaculate Conception: The angel Gabriel said, "Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you" (Luke 1:28). Full of grace is written using the Greek word "kecharitomene", and this word is in the perfect passive tense. A simple lesson in Greek: perfect tense is always used in a word that has a permanent effect. In this case, Mary is full of grace, kecharitomene, not only in one instance, but for her whole life.
