Members RayJr
Yes,I believe it is, the Roman caltholic church has already stated to prostitute its self, by pandering to the world by saying that it is not neccessary to believe in Jesus to get to heaven. The pope has stated that the he believes muslims can go to heaven without accepting Jesus as their saviour. The pope is a joke he says something then the muslims or some other religion gets upset at him then he appologizes. The catholic church is putting itself in place to be the one world church, an all inclusive, all roads lead to hell, oops, type religion. Guest Guest
That is very interesting because my Baptist pastor does not preach this.
Members LindaR
Is Revelation 17 speaking of the Catholic religion? Yes it is. This is the verse which cinches it for me:Revelation 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. Guest Guest
And if you knew your geography there is not 7 hills or mountains in Rome. But there is in Jeruselem i believe.
Guest Guest
And if you knew your geography there is not 7 hills or mountains in Rome Traditionally there is. Yes, some have been destroyed in the building but Rome was and is known as the "city on seven hills". Further it also says: "Revelation 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth." Rome beyond reasonable doubt. What was the great ruling empire of Johns day?

Revelation 17:9 is definitely NOT describing Jerusalem. Read the entire chapter.
