Members TheGloryLand
When there are christians that are debating their faith or personal life styles, can both of them be wrong. Can this verse apply to those that are making the wrong choice. Luke.6 [39] And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch? Members BrotherTony
It's POSSIBLE that both sides could be on the wrong sides of a debate, though it's not something that usually occurs. There's three sides to every story/debate...yours, mine, and the truth....or so I've been told by many pastors.

It did not work for the abortions, issue here in the US. The lower percentage wins.

Just as in the nation of Israel, right didn't always win out. That's the reason God had to keep judging the nation of Israel.
Members Jerry
What doesn't matter is our opinions. What does matter is the Bible. If we are basing our beliefs on only part of the Word of God (not all of it), then we are wrong inasmuch as we are not seeing the whole picture. Votes or majority opinion does not determine truth. It may work to pass a law or work for some committee, but that may or may not reflect God's Word - especially as we get closer and closer to the return of the Lord when less and less people want the truth. They have itching ears and want what pleases them, want God's Word only inasmuch as it fits what they already want or believe. On a practical basis is for an individual or a church to search the Scriptures, see if what is being taught is according to it, and accept it only as much as it does - or reject it if it doesn't. Christian interaction is good if it leads to greater faith in and application of God's Word - not to allow for greater and greater diversity of opinion. Members Bro. West
Here is an interesting question. Was the repetitive thief in the body of Christ?
Members Jerry
Who is the repetitive thief? If you mean the thief on the cross. He was saved, and went to Paradise (the form of Heaven before the resurrection of Christ). Now he is with all true believers in Heaven and we will see him with all of the other departed saved ones when the Lord Jesus Christ returns at the rapture. Members Jerry
I just realized you must have meant "repentant thief". I answered that anyway up above.

The question was not if he was saved (he was), but was he in the body Christ, (The Church)? I AM THE OTHER THIEF I am the other thief, I was on Calvary's hill I saw the man called Jesus whom the soldiers killed I heard the foul cursing, mockery and spew And Jesus cried forgive they know not what they do I felt the nails also for they were in my hands Yet amid my pain and suffering I also cursed that man I am the other thief; I was on Calvary's hill II I think upon my self-willed life while suffering on this cross The people I have robbed and I care not for their loss Curse the people down below and the Roman’s for their nails May they amuse themselves at my expense and die and go to hell I saw the man called Jesus whom the soldiers killed 111 There is another thief here with me going through the same But now he has turned religious and calls on Jesus’ name I with hate will curse them all until my dying breath I have no love or guilt I just long for death I heard the foul cursing, mockery and spew 1V Now soldiers come to break my legs this will end my lousy lot Than I’ll die and be dragged away to feed the worms and rot That man called Jesus is already dead so they will not break his bones Please hurry death and stop this pain, Oh life leave me alone And Jesus cried forgive they know not what they do V I lift my eyes this can not be the suffering I thought would cease These torments and the flames of hell will never give me peace But what is this o’er a great gulf in Abram’s blossom I see The other thief on the cross who suffered along with me I felt the nails also for they were in my hands V1 I belittle him for trusting and calling Jesus Lord My only hope I mocked his salvation I abhor There is Father Abraham he stands with these awaiting saints For the full ransom to be paid and loosen the restrains Yet amid my pain and suffering I also cursed that man V11 Then I see Him descend with keys in nail scarred hands It is true he is the Son of God and the only hope for man He ascend upward with the captives he has redeemed Now there is only us damned with gnashing teeth we scream I am the other thief; I was on Calvary's hill V111 The other thief there with me also shared the pain But he cried Lord remember and his soul he gained Now he no longer suffers, but I have this flame If I could be only redo , I would do the same Remember me; remember me, I remember well Better to trust him on a cross then feel the flames of HELL I am the other thief; I was on Calvary's hill I saw the man called Jesus whom the soldiers killed Written By Bro.
