I learned just a few minutes ago that my younger brother, Shawn Bernhardt, the brother that my wife and I went up to Illinois to meet in July, lost his mother this morning at around 10 AM. His step-father, Bud, and her had just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in August. Her passing was somewhat sudden. This is the second family member that Shawn has lost this year, having lost a sister back before he went to Illinois to meet the family.  Please keep Shawn and his kids, Whitney and Shawn, in your prayers. Thanks in advance.
