Climate change in the Bible

In the Bible the first climate change was the flood and the Lord said, he will not do this again, but later mentions that the world will be judged by ? is Climate change true, and where does it apply to us in, the last days. Can man do anything to prevent the climate, and any changes. Is it too late to do anything. Finally should Christian care, and pray about this. I never heard a preacher say we need to pray regarding our climate.

Of course, we should do our best not to pollute our environment - however, much if not most of the climate change stuff is just bogus information, an attempt by many leaders/people of the world to control the rest of us (ie. by saying what type of technologies we should or should not be part of, by limiting our access or use of fuel and resources, etc.). If we all walked everywhere and hugged trees and killed off a good chunk of the population, they would be happier (this last part has actually been stated by various world leaders and the UN - wanting to reduce the population by a certain percentage because of the strain on our planet).

The Bible teaches God will judge the world by fire during the tribulation - and if you read the book of Revelation, much of the world does get destroyed by God Himself through His judgements (all water into blood, all trees and vegetation burned up, earthquakes levelling all mountains, sinking all islands). Anything man does really pales in comparison AND there is nothing we can do to prevent God's coming judgements (ie. we can be part of saving the lost, but the world will still be destroyed regardless of how careful and protective of the environment man really is).

Climate change happens every time the weather changes. Used to be global cooling (in the 70s...Newt Gingrich [the darling to many in the GOP] and Al Gore, good buddies, pushed the idea that the earth was cooling) until folks realized that the "cooling"  was over and a "warming" was beginning...so they called it global warming instead.  But then the "warming" stopped, so they had to change the name to sound more accurate:  voila! "Climate change."  Truth of the matter is that climate is NOT a global thing - even just a couple of miles away from an area the weather is completely different. We live in what is called the "rainshadow." IOW, it doesn't rain that much in our area...and yet just a couple of miles outside of that rainshadow, it pours while our "Blue Hole" shines (another name given because often there is a "blue hole" in the sky over our town while thunderclouds cover the surrounding areas.

There are silly people pushing the idea that certain things destroy the ozone and will kill us all. Things like cows passing gas, so we need to stop eating beef (seriously). Or aerosol hair spray. Etc. The truth is that there is an opening in the ozone (called an ozone hole) over antarctica.  And alarmists say that it is because of man and his lack of concern for the environment, shown by us being so careless as to leave "carbon footprints"  all over, increasing said hole, which would allow harmful sun rays in and destroy us all.

Problem with that is that the ozone hole fluctuates (just as the climate does). Sometimes it's open wider, sometimes not. In some seasons it is actually closed.

All of this hype began in the '70s. But recorded weather from 100 years previous shows that temperature fluctuations - "warming" and "cooling" - have always gone on. The answer for this supposedly horrific thing about to rain down on us? Why, more taxes, of course. With climate change wonky weirdos like our governor leading the way (he is pushing for a carbon tax, gas tax, mileage tax, etc., etc...). Money - extorted from those who work for a living by those who believe they are our lords - is their answer for it all. (in actuality, it's all about fear and control, fear and control...man-made pandemics, man-made climate disasters claims, etc...never let a "crisis" go to waste, and if there is no crisis, create one)

We shouldn't just willy-nilly destroy things on our earth, but we do need to remember that God gave us dominion over the earth. Not the other way around.

If you look back through the last 100 years, the party that wants to destroy our country has been claiming that "in 10 years" or "in 20 years" if we don't do this and this, the polar ice caps won't be any longer, and our world will forever change. Climate change happens from morning to night...the climate changes from one temperature to another. The words "climate change" are a farce used by our "friends" on the left to try and bring us under the auspices of the OWG!

After the world-wide flood in Noah's day, the Lord our God gave a promise which seems to relate unto the climate change issue: Genesis 8:22 - "While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease."  Thus until the Lord our God Himself destroys the earth with His own judgment fire, the climate of the earth will continue to bring forth spring and fall, simmer and winter, cold and heat, day and night.

Funny, that the cows were mentioned. I see New Age/Vegan world getting on to some countries for our diet of beef - yet don't see them knocking Hindu countries which don't even attempt to control the cows in any way at all because they worship cows.

Speaking about taxing for climate change, there are always people that want to control us for the environment. When Charles Spurgeon was really young, there was a Light (ie. sunlight) tax on Europe - so the more windows you had that let in sunlight, the more you were taxed. Many people either filled in their windows or blacked them out to try to minimize this tax. The merchants who sold lamps and oil must have been delighted though (can't read a book or perform any duties in your house by natural light).

You guys sound pretty confident, all I know is that the government wants control over us and yes there’s a lot of fake news out there, but everything is not normal right now. We cannot be like the ostrich and stick it’s  head in the dirt or sand to not see anything.

Please, show us where ANYONE here is doing that! We'd all be interested knowing who it is! ?

VP Klamala says trees are racist. She wants equal rights among trees.

And Buttegieg (don't know if that's spelled right) says the Biden Admin is gonna take car of racist streets...

E - just because folks don't believe the hype doesn't mean they're sticking their heads in the sand (BTW, did you know ostriches don't really do that?).  Outside of everything else that's been said, Brother Markle's answer completely destroys the idea of climate catastrophe...while it is true that there are summers that are hotter than others and winters that are colder, going back into recorded history shows that climate is cyclical. Who's to say what's normal? LOL

Thought this was interesting: (reminds me of Al Gore's claim that polar bears would disappear by 2013...and yet there are MORE now than when he made his silly claim)

Igore predicted in 2006 the Earth was going to end in 2016 if he didn't get his giant global warming slush fund. I was something like 75 trillion he wanted so him and the boys could party hearty.

Can the summers get hotter, and the winters much colder at the End Times.
