Members BrotherTony
My wife got gas on Friday night @ $2.96 a gallon. She said that gas this morning was $3.19 a gallon at the Pilot station, and $3.22 at the Thorntons! Kroger Fuel had it at $3.18...Our gas expense every week has gone from $70 to over $125...Thank you, Mr. Biden! That's just for the one vehicle. My pickup truck takes 5 gallon more than our Explorer...We could easily spend over $150 a week on gas. How much is gas where you are??? I could handle the mean tweets. They never bothered me. I just didn't pay any attention to what he was saying. I'd rather have the lower prices and NO MORE BIDEN/HARRIS. Our gas prices are slowly creeping up. It wasn't just "creeping up" earlier this week when it jumped 30 cents a gallon, though! My wife is not wanting to fill up tonight after work, though she knows she has to. She knows that it will be around $75.00 to fill up now, and she's afraid I'll be upset. I can't be upset about what I can't control. It's in God's hands, not mine. We can onlyl do what we can do.

She'll tell me when she fills up this evening. I know that I saw $3.29 at a station in town on Gas Buddy. It's still far too high.
Moderators Salyan Posted October 20, 2021 Moderators Share Posted October 20, 2021 So $3.29 US is about $4.05 CAD right now.. and that's per gallon, which makes it about $1.01 per litre. This last weekend, I paid $1.44 per litre - in Alberta, which produces a ton of the raw product which goes into making it. I think that would work out to $4.68 USD per gallon. Your gas is cheap! Seems like it WOULD be more expensive up there. Y'all don't have many petrol processing plants up there do you? When I was up in Dryden, Ontario in my youth, helping to reach the Indians in that area, the owner of the campground where we were kept complaining about the lack of processing plants in Canada. As far as I can tell, it's never changed. I mean, I know you have had some pipelines, etc., but I haven't really heard anything about processing plants. I know here in Tennessee we have a few plants, and there are some in the more Southern states.
Moderators Salyan Posted October 20, 2021 Moderators Share Posted October 20, 2021 Where do you think the raw product comes from to refine? Socialist taxes are a good part of the reason - and idiot easterners who keep blocking pipelines to cheaply ship our product out.

They are our biggest trade partner in oil.

I can only go by what my friends in Canada have said, and from what my own experience was when I was in Dryden, Ontario. The great Frozen North hasn't always been a source of accurate information for some of us here in the states. 10 minutes ago, SureWord said: Canada is loaded with oil. My birth father has some oil interests and is partner in several wells in Indiana. He told me that he remembered reading about some of the large reserves and drilling sites up there. Administrators Jim_Alaska Posted October 21, 2021 Administrators Share Posted October 21, 2021 Our gas jumped ten cents per gallon since yesterday when posted that it was $4.49. so now it is $4.
Members BrotherTony
Last night my wife used some of the points on her Kroger discount card, and she got gas at $3.09 a gallon...she saved 10 cents a gallon. Kroger was actually the lowest priced gas on that side of town. When she pulled off the highway onto 231 South, the Pilot station had gas at $3.29 a gallon. We're waiting to see if it goes back up over $4.00 a gallon like it did when Obama was POTUS. Â Jim_Alaska
