It's not bad. I would find a different word than "magic" in the first stanza though. If you want to be Biblical, that is a word you should definitely not use to refer to Jesus Christ (in the Bible, magic is evil and is strongly condemned). Perhaps something like "mighty."

Also, I would capitalize Father in reference to God the Father. Other than that it is pretty good and fitting for the purpose you state.
