Church member in emergency room

One of our members, Joe, is in the emergency room. He is in a lot of pain and vomiting quite a bit - bile. He is slated to have his gall bladder removed toward the end of the month, but it looks like something will have to happen sooner. Please be in prayer for him and his wife.

Docs believe he has gall stones in the bile duct. Liver enzymes are up. He is staying in the hospital and will be having more tests. Surgery is also going to happen, we just don't know when. They may send him to either Harrison hospital (about an hour away) or on over to Seattle. Appreciate the prayer.

We stopped in to see him today. He is currently undergoing an MRI to see if he does have the stones in his duct. If he does, he'll have to go to Bremerton (preferred) or Seattle for the procedure to remove the stones, and then back to Port Townsend to have the gall bladder removed. He is feeling better than yesterday, although still not well.

The daughter of two of our members is in the ICU. She is a member, but she is shut-in so cannot attend. She has a UTI that will not respond to any antibiotics and seems to have traveled to either her gall bladder or her appendix or  both.

Again, we appreciate the prayer.
