EZRA 6 and 7

Ezra 6:15 And this house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king.

 Ezra 7:1 Now after these things, in the reign of Artaxerxes king of Persia, Ezra the son of Seraiah, the son of Azariah, the son of Hilkiah,

Ezra 7:7  And  he came to Jerusalem in the fifth month, which was in the seventh year of the king.

According to the commonly taught chronology, there are more than 80 years between chapters six and seven.  Can this be so?
