Bold, but not bold.

In the main menu the forum section with a new post is bold and shows the avatar of the last poster, but when you enter that forum heading, there is no bolded thread, and no avatar showing in the top thread.

When you click on the topmost thread the new post shows up, so it is there, it is just in the "intermediate" stage that it doesn't show.

It is not an issue, but it had me confused until I worked it out.
