Members Danny Carlton
We're trying to find books, and when I was doing the homeschooling I never needed a teacher's edition, because I knew almost everything they were being taught, and when something occasionally came by I didn't know, I could find it within seconds skimming the reading they had been assigned. This was with Abeka. So with BJU Homesat, are they given assignments every day, and will those need to be graded? Exactly how needed are the teacher's editions in the later years (we'll have kids in 5th, 8th, 9th and 10th)
Members Trish
Some things in the older grades are graded in class. Not sure if everything is b/c I haven't watched a whole years worth of classes. HA! I am pretty sure all homework is though. We have done the elemantary through 4th grade and that was half graded. They do the first side with the child and then the second side of the page is done independantly. I always purchased the teachers ed. as a scoring device. I would register for the mom's min. packets though, because they have additonal handouts and the updated classes also have a grading page to record grades.
