A verse of Scripture, about Donald Trump’s presidency.....
Proverbs 28:2 “For the transgression of a land many [are] the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding [and] knowledge the state [thereof] shall be prolonged.”

“For the transgression of a land”
When a nation sins, by turning away from God, this causes the kind of public disorder that brought our country to the idolatry, profanity and immorality, that we find it in today.

“many [are] the princes thereof:”
The result of a Godless society, is many will be pretending to be in authority over us(the bureaucracy of little dictators that we have in Washington DC and all over the country); Causing the people to lose their national identity and to brake off into parties and factions. This is where we have come, with the Obama presidency; With more racism, division and political corruption than we have ever seen.

“but by a man of understanding [and] knowledge”
But wise leadership, can solve this problem by a man of understanding and in his right mind, who chooses wise counselors.  Things are brought back into the right order again.  And the right methods of healing the nation are put into place.

“the state [thereof] shall be prolonged.”
Therefore the nation will be strong again and be prolonged.

Praise the LORD He gave us Donald Trump for a president.
We should be praying for his success and safety every day.

Thank you for your post and the fine expostion of Proverbs 28:2

I too am thankful for the Lord giving us Donald Trump as President instead of Hillary Clinton or Berny Sanders. I feel that the Lord has answered  prayers. I do  not say that President Trump is a man of God, nor did I say I agree with his personal life, nor do I agree with all of his actions and his loose lips. I am saying that it is my opinion that God raised Donald Trump up as president to cleanse our land of a lot of the socialist, and communist, agenda of the liberal politicians that are trying to overthrow the Constitution of the United States, overthrow the churches through legal action, and destroy the great nation of America. God has granted the saints of America a reprieve of the ungodliness in our land.

May we use the time that God has allotted us in order to be cleansed of any unrighteousness in our hearts, lives and in the churches.

May the people of the Lord, stand up for what is right to cleanse our churches from the ungoldy Contemporary Christian Music (CCM), in our churches, the open sins of immorality in our churches, and in our society, the open acceptance of these perverted versions of the Holy Scriptures (the Authorized Version of the 1611 is the preserved word of God), the perversion of the heretical doctrines infiltrating into the independent, fundamental, Baptist churches, and the need to be zealous in our soul-winning efforts.

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn away from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14
