Members Ronda
While I do agree with this article: Eve being called "the mother of all living" (Gen.3:20) and Sarah being called the mother of the "children of promise" (Gal.4:28) I would question the title... there is only one "mother of us all" noted (in those exact terms) in the Bible. " But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all." (Gal.4:26 KJV Bible) Haven't heard many sermons on that....

I haven't either, but there is a cult (can't remember the name of it) that uses that verse as a major doctrine in their teachings. That didn't take long. It's based in South Korea but has spread to other countries...USA included. A big part of their beliefs is to worship mother god... http://usa.watv.org/
Members Ronda
Thankfully I haven't run across that bunch... but think those who worship the world (and the things in it) are into "mother earth" type of worship. Catholicism comes close as well, sadly, to worshiping Mary (when we are told NOWHERE in scripture to do so) . I wasn't suggesting that we worship Jerusalem above, I sure hope I didn't come off that way! I was just noting that I hadn't heard many sermons on that particular verse. Members Invicta
Is that a break away from the Worldwide Church of God? When Armstrong died the WWCOG ditched most of his teachings and split into many fragments, One is the Continuing COG which still publishes his writings, including 1975 in Profecy.
