Members heartstrings
If you accidentally (or on accidentally on purpose) dent a piece of wood (raw wood), lay a wet rag or towel over the spot. Let it set there a few minutes then iron the spot with an ordinary clothes iron. Doesn't have to be a steam Iron but I'm sure that would help too. Keep ironing over it untill the grain of the wood miraculously raises back to its original or near original position. Most of the dent will be gone. let it dry and sand as usual. Administrators Jim_Alaska Posted March 29, 2017 Administrators Share Posted March 29, 2017 Great tip, I knew about bending wood with warm water, but never thought about it for dents. Thanks heartstrings
