Matthew 24:7-8

7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Is the President trying to balance the budget by importing ebola? Killing the people will reduce payments.

Have a heart, close the borders!

Why would you leave off this verse? :

Mat 24:6-8
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

You turned the meaning of the passage on it's head.

None of these are signs of the end of anything, but rather the beginning of our present tribulation.

The end of the tribulation, including a short time of great tribulation, comes with Christ's Return:

Mat 24:29-31
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven:and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

The sign of the great tribulation?

Mat 24:15
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

That's right, this isn't a sign the end is upon us. Diseases and the like have long been with us.

OBama is playing games with Ebola for the sake of transference of money to fit his agenda as well as an opportunity to seek to grab more governmental power, try to beat the drum for the importance of OBamacare, and an excuse to lay the blame for Ebola in America upon Republicans.

As usual, it's all about political expediency for OBama.

Notice how the enrovirus (sp?) which is a much larger threat than Ebola in America has received far less government or media attention. Why? Politics!

Ebola, so far as we know, has killed a few thousand, but we don't know how it will develop.  The flue epidemic at the end of WW1 is said to have killed more than died in the war, over 20,000,000

Our government seems to be lying to us about this for the sake of their political agenda.

BO is playing games with a lot of things - ebola and enterovirus among them. While the prophecy might not completely fit, unless Christians get right with God en masse, it is definitely at the very least the beginning of the end of America.

I think you are right, and sadly, America must go, before the Man of Sin can take over, so...

Don't forget America is a very small portion of the world. What is there, about 7 billion people on the planet now and America only holds 300 million of them.

Christianity is spreading in India, China, parts of Africa, South America and elsewhere.

Matthew 24:3

3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

The signs have begun so the famine should come soon too!

"Beginnings of sorrows" arent "signs of the end", that's why He said "the end is not yet".
In other words: these will happen, but they aren't a sign of the end.

Matthew 24:4-6

4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is

not yet.

The end is not yet refers to the previous words not the following sorrows.

I don't think America must "go", but it will definitely fall morally further and further, and the cause of Christ will diminish-we will become like Europe and Britain and such, nations that once flew the banner of Chrst, that sent missionaries around the world, but are not spiritually dead, though still considered "great" in the eyes of the world-THAT'S where America is heading and will prOBably be once the Antichrist take power.

Or a third-world nation, who knows? Point being, all America needs to do is continue on its ungodly course, and they will willingly follow the Beast's wicked pipe to the walls of Jerusalem.

God will cause all the Americans that have heard the truth of the gospel and rejected Jesus to believe the lie of the antichrist.

2 Thessalonians 2:8-12

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
