Members candlelight
The KJV must be a good Bible. It has been on the bestsellers list for a very long time.
Members John81
In 2011 the best selling Bible in the United States was the NIV. The KJB came in second, followed by the NKJV and NLT.
Members candlelight
Okay. I didn't know that. I believe it was the KJV in 2013. Also, I found a recent KJV vs. Modern Version thread that isn't that old. Can we post in that thread, as it is easier to follow?
Administrators HappyChristian Posted February 19, 2014 Administrators Share Posted February 19, 2014 And let's get back on topic here, too.
Members Jeffrey
2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. NIV says "do your best to present yourself..." Maybe the NIV translators didn't want people to study the Bible? You ever check the word in Strongs for that verse? Especially the word study? And the other times it's used? That is the one huge mistake by the KJV translators, do a word study of that verse, has nothing to do with reading your Bible. Administrators HappyChristian Posted February 19, 2014 Administrators Share Posted February 19, 2014 Okay, now, I'm going to say it again. Get back on topic. The topic is not the validity of the KJB. If you desire to discuss it, start another thread.
