I believe that members should give all the info that is requested in their Profile. Also list the church they attend. I believe the more we know about an individual makes it easier to converse with them. It would be a great surprise to find out that another member lived in the same town/county. Since we are a mobile society, there's a good possibility a member may be visiting in your neck of the woods and may visit your church!!! What think ye?

I agree, but I could also understand why some would not want that information public. Maybe only certain groups could have access to view that type of information?

The only "some" is those who may not want their age revealed!!!     Since the vast majority of members do not give their name it would almost be impossible to tie the info to a certain individual.

Perhaps some wish to maintain a level of privacy.

This thread reminds me of the one a number of weeks ago wherein it was suggested that avatars be required.
