I Will Seek To Destroy All The Nations That Come Against Jerusalem

And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications:
and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son,
and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. In that day shall there be a
great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon. Zech 12:9-11

Which Jerusalem is Zech prophesying about? The carnal, earthly city, aka Sodom & Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified, or the Jerusalem above, of which all Christians are citizens?

Zechariah & Paul also prophesy about that "separation wall"  -

Zech. 2:And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:

For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

Eph. 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

The present, godless Jerusalem has no prophetic significance, as Paul wrote:

Gal. 4:24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.

25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.

31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

If you think about it it is true for both.

Jesus will come to save Israel with the saints before Armageddon.

Habkkuk 3:11-13

11The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear.

12Thou didst march through the land in indignation, thou didst thresh the heathen in anger.

13Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thine anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.

God will burn man's rebellion when they attack Jerusalem after the 1000 years, when Satan is released to lead the rebellion.

Revelation 20:6-9

7And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

The heathen Gentile nations do not invade the Third Heaven to attack the "heavenly Jerusalem".  They have no access to the Third Heaven, neither does the Devil and his Fallen Angels.

The battle will be on the earth in present day Israel, when the Lord Jesus returns to the earth, to Jerusalem, to destroy his enemies and set up his Kingdom.

Of course they cannot invade heaven to attack heavenly Jerusalem - but they can attack its citizens - Christians wherever they live, & worship the Father in spirit & in truth.

Earthly Jerusalem has no NC significance - Jesus made that very clear in his warnings. It was the centre of temple worship & David's kingdom - shadows of the true living temple worship & Lord Jesus Christ's eternal. Kingdom. Hebrews 12 is instructive, as is Gal. 4.

The one who stoops to namecallling and ridicule does so because he has little confidence in his argument.........

I've deleted that charicature - but without Scofield's notes in a study Bible freely distributed to the US colleges, would dispensationalism have made such progress & been widely accepted?

Now it is time for me to step out of my shell and let go... I AM STRICT KJV!... In scripture God said he would preserve his word... Well did he or didn't he?... If there is every translation under the sun, then he didn't but I KNOW HE DID!... The preserved word of God called the KJV is for the English people has been around for over 400 years and what is interesting to me, is the KJV was translated in 1611 and the Pilgrims landed on Plymouth Rock in 1620... Coincidence?... A new book the preserved KJV word of God for the New World... So take that you KJV naysayers... I have been reading, studying and digging through the KJV for over 50 years... My belief is 100% Christ and scripture says so... Glad to be here and its time to take these shackles off!
John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Praise God I found such a powerhouse of the outpouring of His Spirit and unapologetic in regards of the defense of the KJV Bible. When I became a Christian back in 1984, I was told to get & read the KJV. It's been my choice all these years.

      Mike,
RE: This is why I am here, why are you?
Also, the land in Egypt wasn't land God gave them it was land Joseph through Pharaoh gave them. God gave them Canaan.
