What daily devotionals are you using

I was interested in the different daily devotionals bein used in conjunction with daily Bible reading. I use Streams in the Desert by Cowan in the am an My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers in the pm.

I like to read Spurgeon's "Morning by Morning", although I typically read that in the afternoon or night.

Whatever Pastor preached sunday morning and night I take notes. Then I study thru each topic thru the Bibile all week. If we have a book at church with the tracks I use it and study each chapter thru the Bible. I just picked up Building Up or Plucking Down written by Jean Coggins. It's very short. Afraid to pick up just anything but really like Bob George books and one of the Clouds (friends husband loaned to me that I trust doctrinally) that answer all kind's of dificult passages was great!! Any advice out there?? Offer away!

This year I'm reading through the Bible using a KJB Daily Devotional Bible.

Each day has an Old Testament reading, followed by a reading from Psalms and Proverbs, and then a reading from the New Testament. Afterwards is a devotional piece and a verse of Scripture to meditate upon and/or memorize.

I write my own now. I have several Books of the Bible in devotional form, including both Old and New Testaments. Some have already been posted on this forum in the "devotions" section.

I used to use "Our daily Bread", but they turned from the KJB. I wrote them a letter about it, and got a nasty reply, so I no longer fool with them.

A really good friend of mine writes a daily devotion. Most mornings i'm the first to read it. Also read Spurgeon's 'Morning by Morning' also at times. Enjoy also reading from Grace Gems Daily Devotionals a good bit.

I don't use devotinals but I've heard Baptist Bread is the best and the ICR's Days of Praise is pretty good.

I also read the first 2 volumes of This Day In Baptist History. They are a great way to learn Baptist history.

I got my dad one of the books for Christmas 2 years ago. He enjoyed it so much. I'm planning on the other as a gift this year. He added it to his devotions and learned a lot.
