Anti-Bullying Speaker Curses Christian Teens

Instead of speaking about anti-bullying, he started speaking hatred against Christians. Christian hatred seems to be growing fast in our country.

I quickly read this and it sure is sad that one like this gets a forum, to speak about anti-bullying, and does just that.

This world is not my home, I'm just a passin' through....

It's becoming very politically correct to lash out at Christians. Since Christians are viewed as intolerant, ignorant, haters and worse, it's not viewed as bullying to pick on them or assault them.

There has been a marked increase in anti-Christian assaults in America, both verbal and physical, in the past few years. Along with this is rising extreme persecution of Christians around the world. We don't read much about this in the mainstream media because they don't have a problem with it.

Exactly. We are the odd ones and the intolerant ones, at least in the eyes of the world/lost. Fortunately we know where we are going, and I'm thankful to be part of that minority.

Scripture says we are to rejoice when we are persecuted for Christ. The "persecution" we Christians in America face at the moment is so much less than what our brothers/sisters in Christ face in the Middle East, Africa, India, China and elsewhere. Considering how some of us whine at the "persecution" in American now, how will we respond if ever faced with real and serious persecution?

Yes, & those that are crying long & loud about Human rights, are the very ones bullying Christians. And also the ones for abortion, & pushing for after-birth abortions, that is for the murder of the ones that are the most vulnerable.

But they do not see their contradictions. I actually believe they only think of self.

I can't say it any better than this...

Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Romans 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Romans 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Romans 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
Romans 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

That sounds like America in general. Meanwhile there are many who hold America up as the model to follow, all the while ignoring the wickedness in our midst, yet denouncing the same sort of things in other countries.

It's sad, but America has lost any claim to being righteous as she has so turned from God, and even turned against God, accepting, legalizing and promoting wickedness across the land, from homosexuality to pornography, from gambling to no-fault divorce, from what most considered a Christian nation to nation which rejects the core of Christianity while embracing all false religions as valid and something to celebrate.

The schools, the courts, the government, virtually every aspect of America is infested with the wicked having their way. Too many who don't like this choose to stick their heads in the ground, pretend America is still more like it was in their youth or even before they were born, and they send their children off to become indoctrinated in the ways of the world in public schools and colleges, they put their trust in politicians who serve the world, the flesh and the devil, each year they accept more and more of the wickedness around them as being normal.

Jesus is the only answer. Either we submit to Jesus and follow Him with all we have and are, and we spread the Gospel and make disciples, or we become a part of the problem and see ourselves swamped by the wicked.

John81, that's what makes this country so great. That's why the founding fathers created laws so Christians could not be persecuted for their faith. As Christians, we should have the ability to freely express what the Bible teaches without government interfering. So when I see our rights slowly get whittled away, I get concerned and as a Christian I should. Of course there is a lot more persecution in other countries, their gov. were not founded on Godly Principles. I don't think we should just sit around and welcome more persecution. I will fight for my Christian beliefs as long as I can. I know compared to other countries we have it good as Christians but it's pretty obvious things have been going down hill for awhile. I pray that when real persecution comes I'll be able to stand up for my Lord and Savior and not be a Peter.

True, while our politicians always hides or tries to hide our evil deeds, corruption, dirty laundry under the cloak of how this is the United States & we do no wrong. While our country, our politicians are ruining all aspects of this country its citizens seem blind to what is really happening.

I recall in my school days starting the day giving our pledge of allegiance to this country. If this country was truly a godly country we would have been giving our pledge of allegiance to God, not county, while never putting country above the One & only 'Great God.' Yes, if we were truly one nation under God, the emphasis would have been on God, not country. The emphasis would be giving our life for God, not country.

Just think what it would be like if the number of both men & women that truly did give their life for this country, & the many that have been willing to give their life for this country, was rightly that dedicated to our 'Wonderful God.' Them God just might have truly blessed this nation.

We are quite good at raising Americans, but we are very poor at raising godly citizens.

Actually in early America Christians, or at least some of them, were persecuted, that is our Baptist fore-fathers. Its in our history, & can be found, but it was not taught in school.

Just do a search for, "baptist persecution" "baptist persecution in early America."

Some people falsely believe all Christian persecution was left in the old world, yet that's far from the truth.
