I've noticed many enemies of Christ are using this to attack Christians and Christianity. They are pointing to the "family values" Christians and calling them hypocrites for supporting a man who has cheated on two wives while they were ill, divorced both of them and married yet another.

Many do. I know man, perhaps most, Muslims around the world think of America as a Christian nation and they think that what is seen in Hollywood movies is a reflection of what comes from Christians.
