Moderators OLD fashioned preacher Posted December 9, 2011 Moderators Share Posted December 9, 2011 (edited) Well, it could be worse. He could be celebrating Ramadan... Chanukah has been "recognized" (political) in the White House by every president since Eisenhower after he was presented a Chanakiah by David Ben-Gurion. Of course, it will offer a ready defense for Obama celebrating Ramadan Edited December 9, 2011 by OLD fashioned
Members John81
To one extent or another Obama has already celebrated and/or honoured several Muslim "holy" days.

Members John81
Obama says all religions/gods are the same yet he claims to be a Christian while leaning more towards Islam.

Guest
He mentioned during the lead in on C-Span that "we" would be celebrating Kwanzaa (Dec. 26-Jan. 1) in a few weeks. I have nothing against heritage celebrations (i.e. Oktoberfest, Cinco De Mayo, etc.). However, it does show his avoidance of Christianity. It appears he would like to substitute anything as preference to Christianity. So, who could vote for him?
Members JerryNumbers
Yes, he has shown that he avoids God the Father of Jesus Christ, the only true 'Savior.'

Kwanza is a fake holiday made up by a socialist black professor by "borrowing" from certain things from various African holidays, mostly from those in east Africa. Ironically, most blacks in America that came over during the slavery days were from west Africa and were often captured and sold into slavery by the more eastern African tribes. So basically, this fake holiday is teaching some blacks to honour the heritage of black tribes that were their ancestors enemies who captured their ancestors and sold them into slavery. Of course Obama doesn't care. He also knows that most real Christians won't vote for him anyway and he knows the liberal, worldly Christians will vote for him pretty much no matter what, so he can ignore Christianity and play up to the others making his base happy.
