Oldest Son

Our oldest son turned 18 today and hopped a bus for Florida. As many of you know this son has been rebellious and much trouble. Worse of all, he has specifically chose not to follow Christ in favor of the pleasures of the world on at least 4 separate occasions over the past few years.

Please pray the Lord would prepare the path for him, protect and provide for him, and in some manner bring him to salvation in Christ.

He finally called today to let us know he's in Pensacola and looking for a job.

He is at the point about all you can do is pray for him.

Have you heard from him again? How's he doing?

He's not called since Christmas day so I don't really know how he's doing. He only called because he knew his mom wanted him to. When we tried to find out anything he was very cryptic. At that time he still didn't have a job but said he was waiting to hear from some place he said he put an application into.

I know he's legally an adult now and he's decided he can take care of himself and do his own thing, but it would sure be nice to hear from him so we know how he's doing.
