Members revivedbygrace
If they were a problem in your church be thankful that they have been removed and that they will no longer be a hinderance or stumbling block to the church. Praise the Lord for seperating the chaf from the wheat! And pray for those individuals that left and forgive them of any pain or problems they caused. Not really much more can be done. Members UrbanChristian
I know this reply is a little late, but I wanted to offer some perspective from being in a church that has seen a few "purgings". How we ended up getting through it was just remembering that God is in control of what was happening, and as long as we continued doing what God has asked us to (Soulwinning, Ministering, etc...), what God will provide the increase. Gal 6:9-10 (9) And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. (10) As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. Pray for those who have left, that they might be restored, but continue to keep your eyes on Christ, and walk with him. God died for his church, and he will take care of his church, that is a promise you can count on.
