America in Prophecy

I do not see in prophecy, where America is mentioned. Many people I know have said that we will not be going through the Tribulation because God will not call his people to wrath. Yes, but, what if God allows American to be destroyed. Nothing says that she must survive.

What are your thoughts? Is America on the way out?

Pretty much identical to yours, C.

America is in for exceedingly sad times and beginning right now with all of the layoffs, and the prices of goods that are all a-fixin' to skyrocket. Look for it this coming spring and summer. The low gas prices are only the calm before the storm. Already our illustrious leaders have socked a staggering debt upon us in excess of 7 trillion dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Add to all of that the NAU, aka North American Union for which Bushie-boy signed the treaty back in 2005. The Mexico to Canada Superhighway is already being built right up thru America's heartland. Just when this NAU takes full effect and the new currency becomes the Amero I do not know for sure.

I agree that America is headed for destruction. She has turned her back on God and His judgement has already begun. Whether America will fall from outside attacks, internal conflict or simply collapse under a mountain of debt (or by some other means) is yet to be seen, but fall she will.

Even if all this occurs prior to the Rapture, God is capable of protecting and preserving His remnant as Scripture shows Him doing time and again.

Unless America turns, yes, I believe it will soon be severely weakened or wiped off the map. I am hoping and praying it will repent and turn before it is too late.
God bless,
Crushmaster.

The only way America will repent and turn before it is too late is if American Christians get busy humbling themselves before God, spending great amounts of time in prayer, witnessing and giving their whole hearts to the Lord's business. Sadly, the vast majority of American Christians won't do this. :sad

Methinks since the decree is already on the books for the U.S.A. to merge with Canada and Mexico it (our USA as we know it) will be gone before we are ready for it to go. I fear it is going to happen very soon. :badday: :sad

How will it affect us??????? Do you have a really nice house and a decent piece of land????????? It will be taxed right out from under you. Do you have a nice car???????? You may not be able to afford the fuel once we all start paying back that 7 Trillion Dollars. Do you enjoy eating three meals per day???????? You may opt out for two meager meals, or some days only one meal when you experience high grocery bills. Obama wants to make the USA just like other countries (e.g. Kenya). This is his idea of leveling the playing field as he calls it.

I've always thought the following describes the Holocaust...

And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. -- [bible]Revelation 12:13,14[/bible]

A really large number of Jews sought refuge in the US from Hitler.

1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image.
3. Thou shalt not take to name of the Lord thy God in vain.
4. Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy.
5. Honour they father and thy mother.
6. Thou shalt not kill.
7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
8. Thou shalt not steal.
9. Thou shalt not bear false witness.
10. Thou shalt not covet.
Exodus 20:3-17 short version.

But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully;but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
2 Corinthians 4:2 How many do this???

Charity sufferith long, kind, envieth not, vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave inself unseemly, seeketh not her own, not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, rejoiceth not in iniquity, rejoiceth in truth, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 short version. Look up in KJV. To much to type. How many people even care about these things anymore.

For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even is this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Galatians 4:6 How many do this?

I could write down things all day from the New Testement that tells us what we should do. All kinds of punishments the Isrealites were given when they disobeyed in the Old Testement. They were chastised greatly when they disobeyed. They were kept from tribulation when they obeyed.

There is a reason we are not mentioned. We are disobeying God as a country. I just pray for Jesus' return in the clouds before it gets too bad.

Is America the last Babylon ?
Zechariah 2:6-7 KJV When the Jews are coming home from the Russian north there will still be a large group of Jews in the daughter of Babylon. So where are the Jews today? There are about 6,000,000 Jews in America and about 3,000,000 in the rest of the world. Why would America be called the daughter of Babylon? America has inherited the super power status of the gentile world.
Daniel 11:39a indicates that the willful king or antichrist will do his will in the strongest nation.
Revelation 16:10 KJV This verse gave me the hint that has caused me to believe that the antichrist will come from America. The hint is look in the prophets for the cause of the darkness on the kingdom of antichrist before Armageddon!

I believe we're going to be considered the "West" as sort of a European union or something. Because why? Because its not just America over here...its the entire North America/South America that is not being mentioned in Scripture. That's half the globe! So I believe that it will be some sort of global union, and we will just be part of the "West" any time that's mentioned in prophecy. I don't believe we're wiped out, because then you still have Canada, Mexico, and South America to deal with. We just won't be a world super power any longer, we'll be combined with Europe and the other Americas.
