I have served 10 plus years in the USMC. God has kept me safe throughout the service to this country.

Saved, I thank you for your service. (Ten years is a little extreme for me though!) I was in the Army for 21 months, and it was plenty, but I learned a lot form it.

Incidentally, the my stint in the Army had a lot to do with my getting saved. The Lord had worked wondrously in my life even then, but that is another post for another time.

I was a machinegunner for 4 years in the 1st Marine Division.

Thanks Br. Matt ! Irishman save for a certain gent I know we all know that ARMY stands for ain't ready to be a man yet or Marine yet (ymMV).

If the Army and the Navy ever look on Heavens scenes they will find the streets are guarded by United States Marines !
