"Remember Thy Heritage

Remember now thy heritage
For blood, sweat, and tears,
Were shed by faithful men
Who stood fast through the years.

They reminded us "God Can"
even in these perilous times,
how avoiding "Earth's Madness"
would bring us joy sublime!

"The Best Is Yet To Come"
They'd remind us when hope seemed gone,
That "Noone Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus"
When we find ourselves alone.

That "Somebody Touched Heaven For Me"
When I was deep in sin,
How the "Grace Of God" would keep us
Until the very end!

The torch that lights our way still shines,
and a debt we'll ever owe
To men and women all o'er this earth
Who went against the flow.

When liberals scoffed and modernists said,
Your of narrow mind you know.
They grabbed thier old 1611's
and armed to fight they'd go!

"Payday Someday" they thundered forth!
and warned of "God's Deadlines"
How a "Redlight To Hell" still burns,
And how "It's Been Worth Every Mile"

So torch in hand I mean to pass
this heritage to daughter and son,
And "Touring That City" I hope to have heard
These words "My Child Well Done"

David Panther"

Thank You, that was a blessing :amen:

You're welcome! No prOBlem!
I was looking at their website the other day and found that; so I thought I'd post it, up here! You can find the site in the Baptist Radio Stations portion, of the directory! It's WPTP-LP!
Brother Panther is a dear, personal friend of mine and a good man! If the poem was a blessing, let him know, also!
BTW, I know, the site and radio station will also be a blessing to you!
