Members JerryNumbers
You know, most times ambulance people, rescuers of any type, will do whatever it takes to get to the person or place where someone needs help, seems this 911 system was full of people who felt if they had to made any extra effort to get to those in need, they were to give up, sign off on them, and return to base. The postman delivers his mail no matter what, but the ambulances, Paramedics, and EMT's, if they encounter any prOBlem whatsoever in Hazelwood they return to base, even after having received 10 calls from one person. Hey, if they got that close, they could have walked to that house and checked this man out.
Members Anon
I agree, there's no reason they couldn't have at least walked and done some preliminary first aid.
Members JerryNumbers
That had to be a horrible indent for that woman, even the man, to have gone through, so sad.

Yes, the government does such a good jOB at taking care of us don't they? I also have to ask... Where was the church? Perhaps these people were unchurched?? Did they not have family to call? When we get heavy snow I try to call all my older people to make sure they are OK and can get out and I make sure they know my phone number.... Members deputydog530
Wow, I so would have lost my jOB as a Deputy if I had denied to go to that man's residence. There needs to be several people lose thier jOBs including some supervisors. I have responded to these types of calls several times. When the snow is too deep we call a snow plow driver out of bed and ahe clears our way or we walk in. This incident was completely unacceptable.
