Do you think much of the prOBlem with mankind resisting God is that man hates authority?

He just loves to be a self-made man, to be his own man.

I absolutely believe that man wants to be in control and to not surrender him/her self to God's control, that is the rebellious sin nature, no doubt. I see this as a primary reason so many millions are desperate to cling to evolution as the origin of the human species, rather than acknowledge the clear and only logical way we came about, "God created." If they acknowledge "God created" then they must acknowledge that to some degree they should be subjected to God's authority as their creator.......

No doubt. The devil was the first rebel and since man fell he shares many of the devils traits through the fallen nature.
