Members JerryNumbers
Advice to Tiger: Turn to the Christian faith Did any of you happen to see this, I head about it, but did not see it. Poll about this. How would you describe Brit Hume's endorsement of the Christian faith to Tiger Woods?
Administrators HappyChristian Posted January 5, 2010 Administrators Share Posted January 5, 2010 I saw the Bill O'Reilly clip where he asked Brit about this. And Brit very clearly said Jesus Christ offers something Tiger Woods needs. It's great: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeRJ7euUShg
Members Bakershalfdozen
Saw it too and loved it! I'm thankful for Brit's clear testimony of Jesus Christ and His forgiveness.
Administrators HappyChristian Posted January 6, 2010 Administrators Share Posted January 6, 2010 I don't watch tv much, so I never heard him say anything about it before. I know O'Reilly is Catholic, but that was the extent (although I think Neil Cavuto might be). I was tickled that he laid it right out there - with no apology! Members 4everHis
Yeah, I read about it and also saw it on the OF. It is great when someone will just say what they believe, especially when they are basing it on God's Word. You never know if that will be the very statement that will prompt Tiger Woods and others to seek out the truth.
Members JerryNumbers
I really do not know what Britts testimony is. I know nothing about what he believes, nor nothing about what church he is affiliated with. I have no idea if if means one is saved by grace through faith or some other ways. However I would like to know just exactly what he believes. Yes, I saw the part on O'Reilly, but the sad thing about O'Reilly, he thinks the Catholic way is the path God, yet the Catholics do not teach the proper way to God, that being by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not of self, not of works.
