Members JerryNumbers
To me, at this moment, 63 seems like 62. But I can tell the years are adding up. I use to think 63 was old, but that sure has changed. amblivion, My birthday went quite well, actually kind of unusual too. Monday morning the contractor started work on our house. We're replacing all of the old single pane windows, plus having all the wooden portions covered in vinyl. This is kind of what its looking like, although they like a bit on this north end. Amazing at how much quieter it is, now we can hardly here the traffic that goes up and down the highway that's about 600 feet from our house, sometimes the old windows would even vibrate as larger truck would go by. I might add, I'm ready for things to get back to normal. Right between those windows is where this computer and I are setting.

Jerry, I'm sure you already know this; but just in case you don't.....make certain you get all the appropriate receipts and paperwork in order to take advantage of the tax credits/breaks that putting in new more energy efficient windows will allow you. Members JerryNumbers
Right, we know about that and our contractor assured us that these windows qualify. We are sure looking forwards to some cheaper electric bills to. Its already made or house feel cozier and it seems our heat pump does not run near as much.
