  1. Brother Tony, I read your reply on Anderson, I know you all think I'm argumentative but, when you don't agree.....the first thought I had is, I wish you would introduce me to the guy that hasn't sinned, maybe David, that had a man killed so he could commit adultery, yet, he was & is a man after Gods own heart, or maybe Paul the guy that persecuted and had Christians killed, or maybe Richg or Kent H, or even you ! I used to listen to personalities also when I was younger but today and for some time, my only concern is, does it line up with scripture & to me its hilarious that you think "I'm in a fix" LOL, I interpreted what we've discussed perfectly, not because I'm smart, but because with an open mind to things of God, its an easy read.

Keep deluding yourself. Nobody has said that anybody is without sin. But, Anderson continues to live contrary to many Biblical prinicples, as does Kent Hovind. Follow them if you wish...And this is going to be the last time I ask you to stop contacting me through the Single Status update option. If you don't, I'll use the ignore feature and turn it over to the moderators and administrators of the site. I've never claimed I was perfect, and your continued deflection and refusal to answer questions is only proof that your spiritually immature and in need of some serious soul-searching. I wish you well, and I'll be praying for you.

Again, don't contact me again unless it's on the PUBLIC forums.

  2. If anyone has not heard Dimitri Dudeman you would enjoy it, I, like most of you in todays America believe very few men that claim to have received word from God, but this man I do believe, Rev. ch. 18 is about todays Babylon, America, and this sermon (from the 70's or 80's) is very enlightening prophecy. He is from Romania and couldn't speak a lick of English when God sent him here.
  3. Sounds like you, not I have the anger problem, what you think I think, and what I think are two different things !!!
  4. I thought you wanted me to stop talking to you !

  5. Not true, I have quoted scripture numerous times on here & I have not attacked anybody, now if trying to share some Biblical truth offends then I'm sorry ! I will be happy to answer any questions you have, scripturally ! Here's an interesting thing I've noticed and is the main reason I started this pre trib conversation, almost every church that teaches a pre trib rapture also teaches that (Gen. Ch. 6) angels fell from Heaven and had sex with women & the Bible never says anything like that, as a matter of fact, in verses 1 thru 4 the words men, daughters and sons of God (saved men) & giants are mentioned but not one mention of a angel or fallen angel. Also most of them believe in the Gap theory, that somehow between Gen. 1-1 or 1-2 there is a gap in which millions of years can be added instead of just believing what the Bible says, that the world is a little over 6000 yrs old, that people can't place the timeline of the dinosaurs is what stumps them but its no problem, they were created when everything else was.
  6. Why is it here in 2022 that truth is all of a sudden arrogance ?

  7. I'm going to leave it alone, maybe in the future you will come to the truth, if you can't read mark 13:24 thru 27 and see that this is the rapture then I cant help you, & if Mark 13 is the rapture so is Rev. ch. 6:12, they say the same thing about the stars falling & the moon turning to blood, it could not be clearer !
  8. We're not getting anywhere because you have never answered my original question, tell me why the Bible says AFTER the tribulation of those days (Mark 13:24) (what days? The days he just got through describing for 20 verses) the elect (that's us) will be gathered from the 4 corners of the earth, what, is He picking us up to go to the movies ? If you have to read it & get back with me tomorrow thats fine, but read it first !
  9. Anderson has never said they could not be saved, neither did I, but if you knowingly allow the devils crowd into your church what are you asking for, trouble,  A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. ! I never thought of it before but homosexuality is a sin that even sinners won't commit ! Its wicked, sorry you have a problem with that !

    1. Jerry

      Jerry

Actually he has. And nowhere have I or anyone on these boards said we want practicing homosexuals in our church. They need to repent and get saved. True repentance will change their lifestyle because they will be born again and sanctified for the Lord.

Quit your kneejerk reactions and postings and respond to what is actually said on these boards, instead of some broad brush you want to paint us all as, And you don't make any sense. Homosexuality is a sin that even sinners won't commit? Who do you think is committing that sin then?

Please keep your responses to the threads in question. If you keep hassling me in private messages, I will bring it to the attention of the Mods and it may result in you being banned from this site, which is seems like you are getting near to anyway.

      Have a great day !

  10. Hmm, I guess you choose to believe the parts of the Bible that are not offensive to you ! You have fell for the "its all love" thang, love everybody, Bonnie & Clyde, homos, false preachers, no sir, "As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated". Like scripture says, there is a time to love & a time to hate, anyone that consciously hurts the cause of Christ is not worthy of anyone's love, totally different than simply an unsaved person that needs our love & understanding to nourish them back .
  11. Ok Mr. Jerry, lets test your theory, tell me one thing Anderson preaches that's NOT scriptural !!!!!!
  12. There is more to this passage, but this is the part that is applicable. Compare this with Luke 21 - it is speaking of the same time period, yet over and over Isaiah says it is the day of the Lord and the time of God's wrath - all seven years: Isaiah 13:6-13 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt: And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger. Let me ask you a question or two then, why would saved people be terrified at the Lords return, why would men be praying for the rocks to fall on them & kill them, don't sound like Christians to me ? Jesus here is talking to sinners which he punishes in the WRATH, (Rev. ch.'s 8&9, not the tribulation(Rev. ch 6) as soon as the sum & moon go dark, were out of here, then Gods wrath upon the world (not Christians) will begin !
  13. Did it, thanks Jim !

Man,...  ain't you cold !! LOL

  14. Man, I've never seen so much "Christian" jealousy, say what you like but here's the truth, if Anderson was not saved, if he was not spiritual as you say, then tell me how he is able to properly interpret scripture better then 90% of preachers out there,  God's word clearly says if a man does not have the spirit, if he's not saved in other words, he will NOT be able to understand scripture !

  15. I believe what I said was misinterpreted, and if you want to kick me off the site because you don't want to hear the truth be my guest, listen, I love all of my brothers & sister everywhere, & this subject has nothing to do with salvation, I'm just trying to do what I'm supposed to do, help a brother ! So let me clear it up, we all know Jesus was here once, the second time He returns (not all the way to earth but in the clouds) is the rapture & the last time he returns will be to fight the battle of Armageddon, although this is totally off the topic, which is post trib !

  16. Well let me ask you a question Jerry, is it not possible that consulting someone else's opinion on a scripture could sway you to lean in an untrue direction ? Like, wanting to believe that you will be gone before the stuff hits the fan ?
  17. Hey Jerry, either I said something you took wrong or you interpreted what I said wrong, I understand the Rapture comes before the millennium, the argument I "thought" I was making was against someone saying the rapture was not the second coming !

    1. Jerry

      Jerry

      You stated this:

the next time, after the millennium He comes down to earth to fight the battle of Armageddon

By the above statement, you are stating that Jesus' second coming (to earth - the first being His birth, public ministry, death, resurrection, etc.) is AFTER the Millennium - which is impossible as the Bible clearly teaches He Himself will rule and reign from literal Jerusalem during those 1000 years.

Maybe you explained yourself badly or mistyped, but that is what you said.

    2. Richg

      Richg

Sorry, thats not what I meant !

  18. I could quote a hundred verses that show the ridiculousness of thinking we will be gone when the tribulation starts, do you really think that Jesus suffered all that torment & humiliation on the cross and that were to get out scott free, with no testing of faith, no real hard trials, it doesn't even make sense. 1st Thess. 3:4,“For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.”

    1. BrotherTony

      BrotherTony

If you've got something to state, do so on the public boards and stop posting to me individually The fact of the matter is that EVERY Christian DOES suffer tribulation in life. This doesn't necessarily equate to the Great Tribulation. You truly need to learn how to rightly divide the word. And again...don't post to me in private...if you've got something to say, out with it in the public forums.

Sorry, I'm trying to answer questions and as I said am having a hard time with this site !

  19. I've found two preachers online that I respect because they properly interpret scripture, I today, (didn't used to !) check the scripture with everything said from the pulpit, as Christ instructs, I do it without an agenda, I don't care what it says as long as it agrees contextually. Steven Anderson & Kent Hovind (Kents creation series is amazing, any Christian that has not watched that needs to, I learned more about history & science in the Bible in 2 hours than I did in the previous 30 yrs !!!) are the two best I've found.
  20. My brother, that's your first mistake, never use man's book to interpret God's word , the Bible is self explanatory 95% of the time and when it's not, we're probably not meant to know that yet. I,m not saying extra knowledge is a bad thing except when it come to a man teaching another man his or her interpretation, I don't do interpretations, just what scripture says !
  21. The tribulation is what the world ( unsaved) does to us, the Wrath is what God does to the world.

  22. It amazes me that a man will refuse to look at the truth, what part of "AFTER" THE TRIBULATION (not in one, but in two different verses !!!!) of those days don't you get ? I'll help you, the major problem that (Baptists) have is is that (me to for 40 yrs. !) they think the tribulation & the wrath of God is the same event & in scripture it clearly is not, Rev. ch. 6 trib. ch. 8 wrath starts, if you read it with a slightly open mind it would be very easy to see, it was for me, you see, when the truth in God's Word is the only thing that matters, you will take an honest look. Rev. ch.6 vs. 12 is the rapture, if its not, can you explain to me what Jesus is sending his angels to gather from the 4 corners of the earth (Mark 13:27)
  23. the Rapture is the second coming are you kidding, Jesus came already and the next time he won't come all the way to earth but we will be caught up to meet Him, the next time, after the millennium He comes down to earth to fight the battle of Armageddon which is the last event after the 1000 yr. Millennium
  24. hey brother Tony, sorry but Im having a hard time finding how I respond to people directly as I had to go to your page in order to respond, maybe you can help? Anyway, yes the Bible does say He will come like a theif in the night but if you look 2 verses later he says " but ye brethren are not in darkness that that day should overtake you"( 2 nd Thess. 5:4 ) he was talking to unsaved folk obviously, you know, this topic has nothing to do with salvation but it does have to do with the falling away partially because the millions that take comfort in that they won't have to suffer persecution (which the Bible says we will, several times)will fall away when they realize they are here for the big show !

  25. I am properly interpreting it, absolutely positive on this one, it's also in Mark 13:24, I mean seriously, how could it be any clearer? Mark 13:27 tells us exactly what's going on here, the Rapture, unless gathering the saints from the 4 corners of the earth is the end, starting at verse 5 Jesus explains what WE, the elect will endure, I would say the persecution & the killing of the Christians qualifies as great tribulation ! There is like 10 places in the Bible that mention the stars falling to earth along with the sun & moon going dark and they all refer to one event, the Rapture.
