What I am saying is that it is an example of substitution theology. The book is clear that it is speaking of angels throughout. Yet the word "pastors" fit the person's theology better so it is substituted. Such substitutions are not in the text yet it is made to fit through through sheer will of the teacher and, statement as if a fact. Sure there is attempt made at justification through reasoning and allusion to messengers being the general meaning of the word angels so ergo it must be pastors, yet it is substitution nonetheless, which breaks the picture scripture is making in the use of Angels in each stage. 7 church angles, 7 trumpeting angels, 7 pouring angels.

That's not to say there is no justification for substitution imagery if scripture makes it in the process of symbolism and allegory which it clearly does in other instances. Yet it needs contextual basis and not mere assertion due to the fact what is clearly presented is inconvenient for the teacher.

They replaced the commandments of God with the traditions of men; the "spirit of the law" with an oppressive array of oral traditions that would eventually become the Talmud after 70 AD.

On example #1 there are some now saying they are churches that will be in the future during the Tribulation
On example #2 it's probably more the truth of who Jesus Christ is rather then just rejecting the gospel. Just my opinion.

Divorce was actually simple among the poor in Victorian England because nobody cared. It was the upper class of society where it was near impossible. I've read stories of men literally divorcing their wives at a pub on the spot and marrying her off to another man for a pitcher of beer. She would be more than willing too.
By the time of Jesus polygamy was outlawed by the Romans. The Greeks despised it too.
I believe the Sadducees were asking Jesus a loaded question that could either make him look like he opposed Moses or on the flip side opposed Roman law.

Years ago after I was first saved I spent some time on a year round camp for youth who were at their last chance stop before going to juvee. Well, not all but many. Some of them just had other issues going on at home or schoo so their parents sent them to this ministryl.
But any ways, this whole thing about "commiting your life to Christ" or "did you really repent" and "follow the Master" caused a lot of stress on more than a few of them mostly those who really  were concerned were believers. This is another trap Satan can use to get someone to lose their joy in the Lord and give up. The non-believers don't care. This was because they would "repent" but go right back to doing the same things they repented of then would doubt if they were even saved at all. I mean, if Jesus was "Lord of all or his wasn't Lord at all" they surely wouldn't do such things. Didn't they commit their life to Christ? Then, of course, they would pray the "Sinner's Prayer" again at the altar and the vicious cycle would start all over. Some would begin to wonder if maybe they might not be part of "the Elect".
There's no "commit your life to Christ" at salvation or in order to be saved. The thief on the cross, well, his life was useless at that point.

No, we don't have TV but we wanted to show our support for someone who we feel is fighting night and day for America to come back to One Nation Under God, so we tuned in to Tucker Carlson's interview with President Trump.

SureWord got a reaction from Pastor Matt in Putting your parents in a nursing home, Sin?
I eventually had to put my father in a nursing home for hospice care. It became too much with his bed sores for me to care for. Me by myself with no help from anyone else in the family. No wife or siblings, nobody.  Not even any aides wanted to come out to where we lived so far outside of town. He was a big man and could no longer help me with moving his body. Along with other health and mental issues he developed it spiraled out of control. It was at the point when I could barely even leave the house to go shopping which would be the only reason I leaved. Forgot about church.
So, no, it's not a sin and nobody better judge me.

    I'm sure.
This man has endured more push-back from the communist, totalitarians, LGBT's, the murdering baby killers than any politician I've ever seen. They have tried every dirty trick they can dream up to keep him from being president. It's because he loves and appreciates our country and way of life which is contrary to the desires of our enemies who want to destroy it. Yet some Christians expect him to be perfect. He's not going to be perfect. I wish he was. I wish I was. Even fine men in the Bible weren't perfect. Moses got angry. Noah got drunk and cursed his own grandson. Abraham took another wife. Jacob was a cheater. Solomon was basically an idolater and adulterer. David was an adulterer and murderer.  Saul was an unsavory character as well. Yet all these men were believers.. No president we put in there is going to be a saint. So, Trump still isn't my first choice and I think we could have better., But he's a far better choice than what we have now. Yes, I would vote for him if he's the best choice we have. Or I may vote for DeSantis if he is running and nominated. But, in this case,  if you "vote your conscience" for an underdog who has no chance of winning, you waste your vote. Just my opinion.

The "attacks" in here are mild. Really not attacks in my book. I can lead you to some bible forums wherd they'll run you through a buzzsaw over anything you say. You can say "Oxygen is needed to live" and you'll get flamed or insulted.

Funny but fake. If you look closely at the bear's mouth and throat movements you can tell it's real. No guy in a bear suit can mimic that. Plus, it's obvious when it gets on all fours.
Sun Bears are cool. I was at a zoo that had a pair and they really are a bunch of clowns. They love attention.

So I just read again that wine in the bible was very low in alcohol because distillation wasn't invented until the 8th century BC by an Arab chemist. The wine in the bible was low in alcohol content and was usually mixed 2:1 with water. Sometimes more than that. Socrates mentioned a 20:1 mix.
The wine first drunk at the feast was excessively mixed with water and the stuff less mixed was brought out later.
I guess even the pagans believed drinking undiluted wine was barbaric. Only the notorious Scythians drank undiluted wine.
So, like I heard before, the booze of today, including wine, is much more harsh than the alcohol back in those days. You could get drunk back then but probably from drinking the undiluted stuff or drinking a whole lot of the diluted.

There are so many in Christian circles that do not properly exegete scripture and who put their own biases and misunderstanding of scripture in action, trying to make what they wrongly believe Bible. I believe there is enough scripture to support that Jesus drank wine. The sin is NOT in partaking, but is indeed in drunkenness. It's not a popular position, but, there it is.
