It's better to invite them to church, IMO. My pastor friend literally knocked on every door in his town of about 5,000 residents. There was a college in town (Upstate NY) and he avoided the frats and soros.  If anyone showed interest in discussing more about the bible he would try to witness to them. I went with him a few times mostly for encouragement and prayer. He also helped a pastor starting a new church up in Maine do the same thing. They knocked every door. It took him months to do this.

Again, what Peter was preaching had nothing to do with what we preach concerning the gospel today. You can call me a "Ruckmanite" or unsaved heretic all you want but until you stop forcing the bible to adhere to Baptist doctrine from beginning to end you will continually remained baffled by passages like this.

People don't trust the vaccine because of the two primary psychopaths behind them: Fauci and Gates. Every other reason is just window dressing.

"Brandon" is a derogatory term for Biden. If you hear or see the phrase "Let's go, Brandon", what people are really saying is "**** Joe Biden". The phrase went "viral" after NASCAR winner Brandon Brown won the race and thought people were chanting his name. They weren't.

I love the Autumn. Though it is the worst season for my Meniere's disease, I love the changing of the leaves here in the mountains of Tennessee. My wife and I used to drive down 41A every year from Murfreesboro to Chattanooga and take pictures of the vibrant colors. It was so beautiful. We haven't done it for several years now because my wife usually only has Sunday off, and we are in church that day. We also have several other things we have to do, ie, going to the dump, post office and grocery store. Then there is laundry to do, dinner to make and dishes to wash, dry and put away.
What is YOUR favorite time of year? Why?

SureWord reacted to BrotherTony in Update on Brother-in-Law....
My brother-in-law, Terry Wood, has been in the hospital for over a month now fighting covid and damage to his lungs. The doctors thought for a long while they were going to have to place him on the ventilator, but came to the conclusion that if they put him on it he would never come off of it alive. So, they upped his oxygen. Part of his problem is that when his O2 levels go down, he panics and get himself riled up and frustrated, and this works against the oxygen. So, from what I understan they were moving him earlier this week to a convalescence center in Augusta to regain strength, and they were going to try and ween him off of the oxygen. If this doesn't work, he may be on oxygen for the rest of his life.
Please continue to pray for him, and for his wife of a little over one year, Tammy, and his children, Laura, TJ, and Jeff, as they try to grapple with what is happening to their husband and father. We would appreciate any prayers you lift up.
    Blessings.

On a side note, I think it's kinda strange to be secretly filming the person you're trying to win to Christ. I have no problem with filming, but if it's done secretly... well, that's kind sends of red flags to me.  It's a whole another level to then put that on social media.

We go out soulwinning every week, and I do believe that it is Biblical to do so.
We do need to be careful about just leading people into prayer for the sake of us getting off their doorstep. This truly needs to be a decision on their part and not pressured into praying a prayer that will not save them. I know a church of 20 that has leads hundreds to Christ every year. In their bulletin it said at times that on soul-winning they led 80-100 in Christ that week and 500 saved for the year. Not one single one there at the church from the the year total of 500 saved.
I understand that it takes time for people to grow in Christ, but the key here is growth. If there is none in ones life, were they truly saved?

I've seen the change first hand, even in my own family, I witnessed my nephew just come to the lord last month, he had a very troubled life, "123 repeat after me" well guess what after that day, he was in and out not completely sure, then the Holy Spirit moved through him, and he asked us to get baptized about 2 weeks after, and has been coming to church every Sunday.
For time sake this is one example, however 75% of our members are in church because someone knocked on their door.

let me tell you what the prayer does. God told us to do that. does it mean you will be saved? no, its what's in your heart, thats why we tell people its what in your heart that matters, not a magical prayer.

but here is why the prayer is so important. if you ask someone to pray, and they say no, that is the ultimate litmus test of their heart. if you do not want to pray but say you believe all these things, something is wrong.
because every time someone let me read scripture, and they dont want to pray after, I ask them what's holding them back. the list of answers will be, well I believe in science and evolution, well I had an abortion, well I murdered in the military, then we go back, walk them down romans road again and this time go through the points of their concern, and then they are either ready to receive, or you planted the seeds, and leave, and God gives the increase.
in the video he literally invited her to church. just remember "you may be the only bible someone will ever read". There are kids on the streets of America, right now, that never heard of Jesus, I wouldn't believe that statement if I haven't saw it twice already. They took God out of schools, TV, even on a video game forum I saw, if you type in God, and hit post, it will change God to "time". ie. only God will know when ..... to Only Time will know when.

so what is inviting someone to church when they dont even know what goes on in an church? you have to leave as much scripture as you can.

I wish someone would have knocked my door in college, ESPECIALLY when I was in the Frat houses, doing wicked things. I was hungry for God and Love and Truth and looking in the wrong places. I would have listened, because it also happened to me later on in college and the seeds were planted.

I've moved into senior age, which obviously means losing parents, aunts, uncles, etc. I still have my mom, praise the Lord! Lost my uncle a few weeks ago, and Randy lost one of his, too.
Yesterday I found out that my Aunt Sharon, the last of the older generation other than my mom, has covid. She is my dad's last living sibling. She is a Christian, so we know where she will spend eternity, but she is also my dad's last living sibling. She is a mother, a grandmother, and a great-grandmother and is very active in her church. Obviously family (which includes me) doesn't want to lose her just yet.
I would greatly appreciate prayer for her healing. She was supposed to be given antibodies yesterday, but her fever is too high.
    Thank you in advance.

Pepsi has connections with Senomyx too. Senomyx uses the cloned taste receptors from an aborted fetus (i.e. murdered baby) to develop the taste of artificial flavors. Kraft is in deep with them too. So when someone enjoys their Kraft Mac and Chess they can thank the aborted fetus from the 1970's whose taste receptors have been repeatedly cloned to develop the taste of that delicious food and don't forget to thank God before eating it.

SureWord got a reaction from BrotherTony in Did Baptist preachers ever have more than 2 wife's at one time
Well, if the church is in the OT like many theologians teach, and the Baptist denomination is the true church the rest of Christians being only guests, then Baptist preachers in the OT had plenty of wives. David, an IFBer, had at least 22 wives and Solomon had 700 plus 300 concubines.
