yes, why wouldn't you? There's always something going on in the world to make an excuse not to tithe. Obviously, if you lost your job and have no income you cannot tithe. But if you get unemployment during this period, you should be tithing off of it.

Thank you for sharing, but if you don't tithe while receiving unemployment? This will not make you lose your salvation, or neither you are a weak christian. Like some christians might say.

    Nevermind.

I'll let you and everyone off the hook.

    Don't worry about answering.

We IFBs claim we only stick to God's word...and we do...until our man-made doctrines take priority over what God's word actually teaches and says.

Have any of us actually studied the tithe, or have we just been satisfied to accept what we've been told?

That sounds good, but it's not biblical concerning the tithe whatsoever. I'm sorry, but don't we want the truth of God's word instead of what we "consider"?

    Here's a question for everyone...

Which takes priority...tithing or providing for your family?

    There are consequences to both.

Don't answer here (or to yourself) unless you've had to make a decision between the two.

Now...at some point...please look up the answers for the questions that I posed...and ask yourself who changed the answers to what God's word clearly states. Did God EVER change those answers concerning the tithe that he COMMANDED, or did man change it?

I've made some friends here, and I'm grateful for that...but it's time for me to leave. I've preached tithing as hard as anyone in the past.

However, I will do what God's word teaches for New Testament believers...

    1. Give as I purpose in my heart for the special offerings for others.

    2. Give to help support my pastor.

    Take care everyone.

These are easy questions for me, for I am a evangelist, and I can speak freely.

    Providing for your family.

    2. . Give as I purpose in my heart for the special offerings for others?

Correct, this could mean give more than the tithe, to the church and others.

Members here are afraid to talk about certain topics, like politics, sex, money and others things here. They are leaders in churches, and have to be more careful.

Without reservation...God didn't stop giving us air to breath, so...tithe!

Does God really need our money? His ministry will continue with your tithe or not, with a church building or not. Mans focus sometimes is on what he can see, and not in faith. If the Pastor knows how much you are tithing, this is sin. Because this brings favortizium.

Mega churches, which I do not prefer attending, are struggling I believe. Let's change it to love offerings. Should it be the member fault, that a church income need to be 0ver 25.000 dollar a week? There are churches that care more for their own income needs, then its members needs. They are telling members to give no matter what, Is this God's plan? This does not change my opening view of this post, tithe or to give love offering, same thing.

I am not always well received here, but this is okay, I know that there are prefered groups everywhere. Even in my church ... 🥺

Well now, you managed to push my button. No, it is not for the pastor to relegate the job to an evangelist to preach what he won't!!!!! If there is a topic or passage that a given evangelist does a better job of conveying Bible truth to folks than the pastor can, I don't have a problem with him getting a guest preacher for it. HOWEVER, if the pastor's is worried about being rebuked or voted out due to preaching Bible -- he needs to grow up, determine whether he is called of God to preach, and if so then preach because your final accountability is to God and His Word!!!!!!! NOT to give someone else the task of doing your job that you're afraid will get you "fired". The pulpit is NO place for games, church politics or "career building"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with you Sir, but it does happens. I don't think pastors are doing this all the time, but some do it for more backup. to push the message out. Like for tithing, or building fund, and growth.

It's not that your posts are sensitive, it's that they are weird and rude. You make up straw men - saying 'this is an issue' for things that simply aren't issues. It comes across more as a snide attack at churches and pastors than as sincere discussion.
(And for anyone wondering why I seem to be referring to things they may not have seen, EMorales was formerly TheGloryLand on this site years ago.)

I am not picking on anyone or am I hiding anything here. I openly mention my website http://thegloryland.com on my home page. You can join all my messages if it can be done, past and present. I never mention names to my post, of pastors or members, churches by name doing wrong. The truth does hurt, but you are correct, I did mention the world, that is in correct. I meant many people. The are many false teachers out there, even in the IBC. Why not alert other to keep your eyes open. If I say lets build are church far away, on a island to our self.  Would you not blow the Wiesel?

  8. I know that some of my post can be sensitive, but Christians need to speak and preach freely. This is where the Evangelist comes into play. Where pastors cannot, or are afraid to talk about, this is called weakness. I told my wife, if I die, she can  get remarried. If she cares or want to, our wife are just like are kids, they are not ours. Wife's are a gift from God. There are no wedding reunions, or sex in heaven.

A man in heaven, once married for 60 years ran into to his wife he had on the earth, in heaven. She said, my love to him, he said to her. Our contract said to death do us part, our earthly contract is over...   🙃  smile

I don't know that the world does expect it - I've never heard of such an expectation before. GloryLand, you're not going to start up again with a bunch of weird comments on pastors, are you? :4_13_13:

My post are not weird, ask any single pastor or wife. Some pastors might get jealous just thinking about it. Don’t worry be happy.  : )

  10. I remember a sweet old lady that we use to give a ride to church, rest in peace. She would put a few dollars in the offering plate, which is fine to do. But will spend over a thousand of dollars on their pet, when they got sick. I never told her anything about it, but it did go through my mine. Where ever is your heart, there nearby will follow your money.

  11. We are living in the last days, you will not hear this in the modern church today. What we are seeing right now before our eyes, as when Christ came to this earth the first time. People could not see the truth, man did not fear God. Money is still the root of all evilness. Churches today, with their tithes and offering that are just covering the churches mega budgets, and large salaries. Entertainment and shows, must help to pay for all this.  More and more churches, but less Christians, Sad.
