  1. On 7/24/2023 at 8:26 AM, John Young said:

If that were true then Israel as a nation wouldn't still be blind. As the scripture says, "blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in." No need to debate over the part that is clearly stated.

    No debate.

God told the first man and woman,  husband and wife,  that they would die if they disobeyed Him.

    They disobeyed Him.

    They died.

The time that passed before this was physically observed was considerably longer than 75 years, right ?

So also today,  do not look at what is seen with the eyes, nor listen to what is heard with the ears (carnal, fleshly, worldly, physical),

    rather trust ABBA YHVH.

  2. fwiw,   I simply believe that it may be that the time of the gentiles closed years if not decades ago.        All the arguments and debates given otherwise seem to be self-contradictory,  and/or alter or twist God's Word for the purpose of a tradition of men.   That's not a surprise,  since most religious teachers Jesus spoke to in person who went along with the religion of the day likewise, Jesus said,  put man's tradition in place of and over God's Word.    It might not be so sometimes today,  but usually worldwide it sure looks like it, eh?

  3. 26 minutes ago, Jerry said:
When people look at how you live - when they hear the words you speak, observe your attitude and demeanor, and see your day to day activities - is it obvious to them that you are diligently seeking the Lord, that you crave to walk closer with Him, that He alone is the one you worship?

"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

22 But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.

23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:

24 Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.

    25 And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;

26 That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.

27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ:

that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs,

that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;"

    =================================================================

God's Instructions To do: "ye(plural) stand fast in one(singular) spirit, with one(singular) mind striving together(all as one) for the faith of the gospel"

Is anyone anywhere today doing this with any assembly anywhere daily, living as written,  as one, in union with Jesus as Jesus is in union, echad(one), with the Father,  as Jesus prayed in John 18 for His disciples AND for the disciples that would come after them ?

Has anyone besides me seen this  being right and being accomplished by the Father in their lifetime ?   It is a seeming spontaneous free gracious (not worked for) result, a choice of the will being willing to completely and always obey Jesus, to follow Him wherever He Goes renouncing all else and leaving all of the flesh, everything,  behind, and  a consequence,  of abiding in Jesus.   Not a way to become abiding in Him.  Being set apart (holy) is the Father's Work, the Father's Doing,  just as also being born again is by the Will of the Father, not accomplished by the will of man, nor by anything man can do or think or wish for or choose.

Peace in the Midst of the Storm

The storms and troubles and pains and trials that BB has experienced have been indicated directly or indirectly in his many posts daily.   It seems he is desperately lonely (he can correct this if this is wrong) and has been clinging to the same life-raft for order in his life,  and now has been told frequently (in this forum) that he has been placing his trust and his life in the wrong hands, and even promoting what is wrong hoping to get people's approval.  Or so it seems.   He wants people to read his posts and grant him relief, or acceptance,  or patience,

and a way (we hope) to direct him in the right path,  to the Lord Jesus, in the right way , God's Way,  toward acceptance, forgiveness, wholeness and wholesomeness that he is not experiencing for a long long long time.

The nursing home he resides at is not helpful apparently, unless God has put someone there who has been willing to help him,  but he has rejected their help, just as he has so far rejected any help on this forum offered towards healing, Jesus' Life ,  restoration of a clean and right spirit and a sound mind in Christ Jesus.

Usually I do not think of being easy going with someone, with anyone, bringing a false message ,  but BB has indicated many times his 'suffering' or maybe even despair at not knowing what is right,  as well as not wanting to be thought bad of for having lived so wrong a life whatever degree of wrong it was or is -

Does BB want even, seek even,  healing and wholeness and restoration of life in Christ Jesus ?   We hope so,  not just for him, but for everyone we know !

If he stops promoting what is wrong and harmful,  perhaps I can relax (not like it's my job nor place anyway)  and with others here be more encouraging and helpful to him to find what is true and needed,  to overcome the lies and deceptions of the past and seek out and find the peaceful, joyous truth in this wicked days we live in?

BB keeps repeatedly and daily posting carnal, sinful,  bad and wrong sources.

The kind of sources and quotes that would not be permitted in a local assembly of Christians.

Does he want to change ?  Does he want help recovering ,  to be nurtured by the Good and Perfect Shepherd Jesus ,  and to even learn from Jesus ?  Through Scripture and through others in the body of Jesus on earth, the assembly of believers.

We hope so, for all of our sakes.

I believe if you look at the life Christ lived and how he treated those who suffer you will see that your proof texting is incorrect and that Bonhoeffer was correct.

    • Remember the woman taken in adultery?
    • Remember the woman at the well?
    • Remember how he treated the hated tax collector?
    • Remember Jesus healed the sick, raised the dead, consoled the afflicted, and comforted the broken hearted.
    • Remember his comparison of the rich man and the woman who gave the widow's mite?
    • Remember the only people he came down hard on were the 'professional' buffed up religious people, (men), of his day who spent most of their time criticizing other?

If all of that is contained in the characters of what we would call one "word", what a wonderful language it must be.

I have seen the beauty and depth in Hebrew ,   where much more Yahweh's Life is Revealed, Present, Conveyed, as the Father in Heaven Reveals to little children.  Some things difficult or argued about in English,  became perfectly simple truth in Hebrew, when read and God Gave Understanding as His Word Says He Delights To Do.

"The Lord Jesus was sinless and totally righteous. A Chinese proverb says,義刑於色Translated, that means, “Righteousness manifested in one's appearance.”"

This may be of note - the underground, persecuted, martyrs in the house churches/meetings in China were almost the only ones I've ever heard of or read about or met

who lived totally changed lives abiding in Jesus the 'same' as did the Apostles and disciples and ekklesia (set apart ones) in the first century/ in Scripture described with God's Revealed Description.

They lived such lives that "without a word" observers of their remarkably different lives were converted to be born again believers.   To be converted for them, to be born again,  also meant and still means today a potential beating, arrest, imprisonment, and executions.  They , the ekklesia in China,  knew this before being converted,  and chose to repent and be immersed in Jesus' Name instead of pretending to be saved quietly so their hearts were indeed and in truth circumcised by the Father in heaven in a circumcision not made with hands.  They received a brand new heart and He created in them a clean spirit (i.e. re King David, a man after God's Own Heart).

Peace in the Midst of the Storm

With the storms of life from the wuhan experiences the last two years, this has become even more exacerbated as Satan deceived billions in his scheme to destroy believers and unbelievers.

Those who follow Christ do not become yoked with the government(s) or medical forces of the world:  Rather, A true Christian Wang Ming-Dao and those faithful with him:  “As a citizen, I submit to those who are in power; but as for our faith, we must obey God rather than men.”[1] Lamb’s position was consistent. In 1955, the Communist government put pressure on the Protestant churches, requiring every congregation to join the government-supported ecumenical “Three-Self Patriotic Movement.”[2] Lamb and his fellow churchmen refused, quoting from 2 Corinthians 6:14, “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers” (KJV). "

"Wang Ming-Dao said, 王明道「魔鬼敗壞信徒的計策很多,但最毒的莫過於使他們對神的話發生疑惑,因為這是根本的方法。」“Satan has many scheme’s to destroy the believer, but the greatest poisonous, and the original, method is nothing more than to cause them to doubt the word of God.”[1] The English translation is a free translation from the author."

Perhaps many time people look to the only hope of salvation,

but worldwide and in the usa,  billions more doubt the Word of God,  and join with the ecumenical world deception .

The faithful,  calling on Jesus,  are saved from that power of the world,

instead of doubting the Word of God.

Peter is a fine example of Christian life experiences; though the storms of life may at times cause us to falter, our faith in our Savior God will always carry us through.  Ps 119:116  Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope....

    Thoughts On Psalms 119 ALEPH

although commendable will fall short as we can all attest.

Most fall short, but that is not what the Scripture says concerning what I quoted and underlined.

Don't keep working on it in the wrong direction,  or it cannot be grasped.

    On 5/2/2021 at 2:41 PM, 1Timothy115 said:

3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

This is not saying that they do anything "commendable",  see ?  No man can claim that they are "commendable" according to any Scripture, I think (as far as anyone's posted, nor as far as I know).

Doing no iniquity,  walking in His ways,  is not something a man can be "commended" for,  as far as I know, according to any Scripture.

Yet,  as written,  that is what they do anyway - without being "commendable".

"They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways."  as written.   Simply in line with all of KJV Scripture, God's Own Plan, God's Own Purpose.

    Thoughts On Psalms 119 ALEPH

See who in the OT and in the NT, Ekklesia,  were called by God the Creator "blameless",  "holy", "perfect",  and so on.

As Jesus says:  "Few are chosen".  So it may only be in the Bible that most people are able to find His chosen ones.   Seek, and keep seeking,  with God's Promise to find them.

i.e. not by man's word. - only and always by God's Own Word.

    Thoughts On Psalms 119 ALEPH

1 ALEPH. Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

    ==========.

King David, from a child, realized that the testimonies, the statutes, the commandments,  the law of God, the judgments of God, the word of God as written and as spoken by the prophets, were good and just. Therefore, King David delighted, from a child, in the word of God more than he did in riches and the things of this life.

It seems to me that we need to meditate, to love, to delight, and to follow the scriptures with all of our heart.
