  1. PS2: Will this cross be OK to wear? I apologise for my ignorance
  2. Dear Jim, I had no idea! Thanks so much for letting me know. To me, this is a sign of Jesus Christ as my Saviour, besides many other things and this is actually the photo of my own pendant that i wear at all times around my neck. It helps me keep in touch with the Lord at all times, is that bad? Bless your heart, Totoo PS: Should i change this pendant with a simple Cross without the Christ on it?
  3. Greetings all, Here's a photo of a silver cross for you to download and use as your desktop wallpaper or for your mobile devices. I took this photo yesterday afternoon. Hope you like it and use it, too. Bless your hearts, Totoo
  4. Hi, again, I just wanted to add something which is direct relation to my first writing on this topic. In Matthew Chapter 4, what we see is for us to learn how to defeat Satan, just as Jesus Christ conquered him. At ever temptation, refer to the scriptures and see what God the Father or Jesus Christ has to say about that, and with the help of the Holy Spirit we should be able to come through safely. We cannot defeat Satan on our own, we need help! Bless your hearts, Totoo
  5. Thanks to all, i feel so very blessed. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless your hearts heartily. There are different kinds of people with different attitudes and approaches to reading books in general, on the one hand, there are those who just are happy to run their eyes on the lines of the books and pass the time. On the other hand, there are those who not only are happy to do that, but will gain more pleasure by discerning the text and trying to comprehend everything therein. Yours truly belongs to the other hand team. You see, i became a teacher only to remain a student and become a true scholar, long way to go yet, and still trying. And when i was blessed with the Grace of the Father and that of the Holy Spirit and of course Jesus Christ, i did not want to simply say: 'Yes, I'm a Christian, and that's all i know.' When i read the Holy Bible, as you might have realised through my earlier questions way back, my questions arise from careful reading, text for text, not hear say. For example, when Jesus Christ says in His prayer, that: 'Give us this day our daily bread' I am sure He is not talking about a loaf of bread! So what is he talking about? This is how i read the Good Book and find it hard, yet enjoy solving the puzzles and with the Grace of the Lord i have been able to solve many a puzzle already and that's why i have come to trust my ability with the help of the Lord to translate the Word of the Lord into Persian from that of the KJV which of course is in English. Again, my humble thanks and may the Lord bless your hearts, Totoo
  6. Thanks, mate, You need to add to that the fact that i am Persian born which adds to my sufferings, Praise the Lord, it's fine, i am learning more and more because of all my restrictions. One has to be patient and the Lord has a plan for everyone, i wish i knew what is His kind plan for me so that i could get there faster. In any case, as i have just mentioned above, i am trying to spread the Word in every way possible, through my We Chat app as well as during my classes. My pupils all know i am a Christian and that Jesus Christ is more than important to me. Sometimes some conversation sparks up and i take the opportunity to say as much as i can and as well as i can. Bless your heart, thanks again, Totoo Thank you, friend, Bless your heart, it is very kind of you to spend your precious time reading all and replying too. Well, God is kind, i'm just trying to do what i can as much as i can, it's nothing special, still, unable to fulfil. There is a good reason for everything. Bless your heart, Totoo Life is full of challenges, Everyone has their own, Mine is to be lonely and lonesome, Praise the Lord, Bless your hearts, Totoo
  7. Cheers, mate, That's a great idea. As a matter of fact i have just posted a message on my circle of friends on We Chat app and told people they can contact me if they have any questions. i'll paste the whole message down below and you can help me make it better for the future: Do you believe in Jesus Christ? If so, Good for you ? Yours is the eternal life!? If not, You are lost without any hope in your life! Your life is meaningless and empty! Turn and find yourself and help yourself live the wise life! All you need to do is to Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour Then live a Righteous Blameless And Loving Life Contact me if you have any questions If I know I will reply, if I don’t know I will learn then tell you what I learnt ? i look forward to hearing from you and your kind comments. Bless your heart, Totoo
  8. I will be more than happy to learn from you, dear friend. Recalling the fact that even the disciples had difficulty understanding the Word, hence time and again asking Jesus Christ to explain the parables. [Having said this, i honestly believe they asked for explanations since they knew there would be people like me who wouldn't be able to comprehend not that they themselves had any difficulty, in any case, it is not easy for me and i am an English language and literature scholar, Shakespeare and T. S. Eliot are nothing to compare with the complexity and seriousness of the Good Book.] Again, i will be more than honoured to learn from you. Bless your heart, Totoo Hi, there, Cheers, mate, thank you for your kind time and care and encouragements. Bless your heart, Totoo
  9. Hi, there, people, It's been quite a while since my last reply to this topic. I'm here to say I was wrong, absolutely wrong and I thank you for putting me on the right track. I have come to understand that it is Satan's ways and lies that deceive us and leads people like me astray very easily. I have also come to learn that reading the Good Book is not as easy as one might think. The Holy Bible is one of the most difficult books i have come to read and i have been working on it for a couple of years now and i am still learning something new every time i go back to a passage i have already read many a time! The Holy Bible is also very rich with meaning and literary symbols. Again, one of the most difficult books to study and i hope i will be able to comprehend the Good Book one day soon. (Woking on it!) Satan is there in every bend and every opportunity he can cling on to. One must be totally watchful of him. He is there in every breath! May the Lord Jesus Christ save us all. Bless your hearts, Totoo PS: Thanks again and i am very humbled.
  10. Cheers, thanks so much. I am humbled. I am glad to be able to view this wonderful website again. While it lasts, it's great. Nobody know how long it's going to be unbanned, so, with the Grace of the Lord and your kind prayers, here we are. I also thank you for your kind cautioning me, yes, i have come to learn that it's not our deeds but our faith that saves us. Thanks again. i remember i have had many questions and most of them silly and for my downfall, but well, God is kind and they are past now and i have learnt much more with the Grace of the Lord. i am trying to keep my faith and deepen my belief by reading the Good Book and the translating is helping understand and realise much better than just reading it. Bless your hearts and many many thanks for your kind care and precious time. Totoo
  11. I live in a foreign country, my abilities here are so very limited, although nothing is impossible for God, many things are impossible for me. For instance, I am not allowed to have a job here, so my wife is taking care of the money and she is the bread winner of the family. I teach privately whenever possible, but I cannot advertise openly for it and only friends tell friends about me and if they have a need, they come. I have started sharing video clips of me reciting the Holy Bible online on Tik Tok, but they stop most of them and it is very difficult to go live-streaming. To start a church needs a lot of things, which i have very little. For instance, the knowledge and ability to guide people, i am still a child in Christianity and i'm still learning. It might not be wise of me to start a church when i know so little. It might do damage and harm more than good. What i have also started doing very recently is translating the Holy Bible into my mother tongue, Persian. It felt great and i feel blessed for that. It will take a good while to finish, but no hurries, all in good time. Thank you for your time and suggestion. Bless your hearts, Totoo
  12. Greetings all, Hope you have all been well. It's been a very long time, i think, since my last visit, you understand, it's not easy to reach this space where i reside. i'm lucky to be here today, the Lord has given me access to say hi and ask you a question. Since i became a Christian in my heart, i say so because i have yet to be baptised in a church, but i have not been able to find a Baptist church near me where i could go and what's more i cannot pay my 10% share of income, not i earn much, i don't, but still. Can you guys kindly help me what to do, please? i'm also not sure if i can donate to an online church, again, living where i live, things are pretty tough, sending money abroad might be quite tricky. i have been trying to teach for free and i am still teaching some people for free as a kind of giving, but not sure that counts at all. i've been very blessed and i just want to be a perfect Christian in every aspect, being a perfectionist that i am. Well, thanks a lot for your kind time and care. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless your hearts heartily, Totoo
  13. Greetings ? It's more than a year now that I have converted to Christianity and ever since I have been reading and trying to understand the scriptures as best as I possibly could. I have posted many questions already and you have been more than kind to reply and guide me on. I recall I had a question about Matthew 4:1: Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And the problem for me was 'how could the Spirit of God lead the Lord anywhere 'to be tempted of the devil' unless they are working in harmony and cooperation!' Unfortunately I did not receive any satisfying replies on that but I kept studying and reading more and thinking and pondering about this issue. Now I have come to believe that God is all good and cannot possibly cooperate with any being as bad as the devil, so what is the answer to my question? Well, the devil is in me, I am the devil, I make choices which are wrong and unrighteous, there needs no outside being to push me to do anything, because if I do not want to commit anything, nothing can make me, except my own will. So I interpret the passage quoted above as: Then the Holy Spirit put Jesus Christ to the test of Righteousness in the wilderness of his mind! Your kind comments and criticisms are very welcome. I will God willing post more articles here, I have found a few resources that I am studying and I will try to share as much as I can with you and ask more questions which you will kindly be able to reply and guide me onwards. Bless your hearts, Totoo
