    Absence of Doctrinal Authority

Thanks for making this statement. I wasn't really aware of the history behind infant Baptism. I was raised in a Baptist church so I wasn't Baptized until recently as an adult. I was going to Baptize my son at the age of 1 year but after research based on your statement I am not going to do that. Now let me ask you how it is that I attended a Southern Baptist church for 10 years and came away without any knowledge of their thoughts on Baptism?

    Absence of Doctrinal Authority

2 Peter 1:20 King James Version (KJV) Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. I also like these Bible verses on this subject: https://www.openbible.info/topics/false_preachers I say, the smaller the flock the less sheep are lost to a hungry shepherd. This principle applies in many facets of life, but especially so in Christian matters. The current state of the Catholic and Anglican churches illustrate this point very clearly. Many sheep in the flock led astray by deceitful shepherds.

    Absence of Doctrinal Authority

"Protestant and emerging evangelical sects is where you will find the bulk of your homo/female pastor examples." Incorrect. The Church of England is by far the most degenerate Christian Sect in the world today. Several examples off the top of my head that you can google to verify: 1. Rampant number of female preachers 2. Homosexual preachers 3. Total acceptance of homosexuality and transexuality 4. High ranking members of the Anglican church openly stating that they should all pray that the children of the English royals turn out homosexual That's just off the top of my head. Meanwhile the Catholic church is only slightly better with its acceptance of: homosexuality, abortion, seeming Agnostic stance by the Pope himself, and calls for Global Communism. I suppose my belief is that a benevolent Patriarchal church authority would be objectively good for any Christian congregation, but clearly Satan has worked hard to corrupt most of those that exist today. The only seemingly non-Heretical church authorities are in the Orthodox Churches (Russian, Greek, Serbian, etc.). Ukraine's Church on the other hand is rapidly splitting from Russia and will no doubt be pushing homosexuality and abortion within months, if not already.
  4. One of the big points for Baptists is independence and absence of central church authority. However, given that the Bible can be interpreted in many ways, doesn't that leave open the possibility for perverting the word of God? For example, many purported Christian sects today use the following: Galatians 3:26-29 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. To justify having homosexuals and transexuals in the church. They also use this to justify having female preachers. On the other hand, Catholics and Anglicans have a corrupt central authority that has itself been perverted so having a doctrinal authority for a sect of Christianity seems to provide no specific protection against it being perverted and corrupted. But it would seem to me that there is a need for doctrinal authority when there are many liars and charlatans out there perverting the word of God using all manner of semantic twisting and legalisms to corrupt Christianity and led Christians away from the path of salvation that the Lord has laid out for mankind. What say you?

    The Synagogue of Satan

Thanks John Young, that is a valid response. I will consider these words. It is good that you are aware of some historical facts surrounding Baal and his worship. The archway of the entrance to the temple of Baal was destroyed in Syria by ISIS but was reconstructed and displayed in London, New York, and Washington D.C. So the entrance to a temple where a demon, or possibly Satan himself, was worshiped with child sacrifice was reconstructed and displayed in the 3 most prominent centers of Western power with Anglo-Christian roots. Very interesting times we live in. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/sep/20/palmyra-arch-syria-new-york Denying that any Jewish person has ever done anything wrong and anyone saying otherwise is a liar is not a valid response, but that's what I would expect to hear at my church which is why I don't pose these questions there.

    The Synagogue of Satan

Background: My family attends an English speaking independent fundamental Baptist church in Germany. I am not comfortable asking certain questions at the church because I don't really think the people there are equipped to discuss many subjects on a meaningful level, and I do not want to disrupt what has become something of a social club for my wife. My church growing up was a pre-1995 Southern Baptist one. Revelation 3:9 King James Version (KJV) Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. John 8:44 King James Version (KJV) Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. I'm aware this is a controversial subject which is why I don't bring it up at church, but I think these issues are very critical to Christians. If it is forbidden to talk about the Jews in anything but the most glowing and reverent manner even on an internet forum then I will have my answer. There's a lot of background here, but I will start by pointing out that the tapes released of conversations between Richard Nixon and Billy Graham in 1972 include Nixon complaining about how Jews in the media were attacking him constantly, even though he supported them and Israel strongly. Billy Graham mentions that the bible talks about two kinds of Jews, including those that claim to be Jews but are not. He's referring to the Synagogue of Satan. https://www.usnews.com/opinion/thomas-jefferson-street/articles/2018-02-28/dont-forget-billy-grahams-anti-semitic-turn-with-richard-nixon We had a guest pastor come and give sermons at our church and his primary topic was what I could summarize as "Jew Worship." Just hands down worship of Jews as God's Chosen People etc. Going on and on about how all nations of the world have been blessed by the Jews through Israel. It was hard to listen to because of what can be attributed to Jews in the modern age, their supposed "blessings" upon we Gentiles. Anyone can research and verify that the abolition of obscenity laws and the introduction of wide scale pornography in the United States and West is a product of Jewish people. I would cite my sources but this is easily verifiable. So you have the creation of the porn industry in America by Jewish people, along with the wide spread of pornography and normalization of it with associated abnormal sexual behaviors on the one hand, and the continual decline of the messages and imagery in mainstream Hollywood on the other. Will anyone dispute that the messaging and imagery coming from Hollywood and television content producers is not healthy for a Christian people and nation? Communism and Feminism (and associated behaviors like fornication, abortion, divorce) also have their roots with Jewish people. Again, anyone can verify this by reviewing the historical facts surrounding these social movements. The Soviet Union, founded by Jewish Bolsheviks, murdered millions upon millions of European Christians and priests, tore down tens of thousands of churches, forbid Christianity, and enforced atheism for 70 years upon much of the world. Well over a billion people are still suffering under Communism in China where Christianity is still suppressed brutally by the totalitarian Chinese Communist Government. I could go on, but I'll leave it all there. So my question to anyone reading this is: are these murderers, liars, and pornographers Jews or are they the Synagogue of Satan? Are these "God's Chosen People?" Now I think the response to this is that these are fake Jews, and the "real Jews" are God's Chosen People of the bible, but the "good Jews" support the bad ones 100%. If a man supports and defends evil is he not evil? How do modern Christians reconcile the biblical Jews with the modern Jewish people and their behavior?

    Why Large Families?

Background: My family attends an English speaking independent fundamental Baptist church in Germany. I am not comfortable asking certain questions at the church because I don't really think the people there are equipped to discuss many subjects on a meaningful level, and I do not want to disrupt what has become something of a social club for my wife. My church growing up was a pre-1995 Southern Baptist one. I've definitely noticed that having many children (4+) is a major point of pride for the church going crowd, missionaries, etc. I am aware of the parts of Genesis where God instructs man to "be fruitful and multiply" and "fill the Earth and subdue it." But modern interpretations of Christianity seem to decry the existence of nations and emphasize that the Kingdom of God is in heaven. Many Christian sects push open borders and the mixing of all the peoples of the Earth. So why do modern Christians still have large families? And I've noted that a large majority of these large Christian families are all of the same "nation." Some modern Christian sects are known to adopt children from Africa and push especially hard for open borders and the abolition of the nation state. It seems logically inconsistent for modern Christians to marry within their nation and produce many children when they could marry outside of their nation and adopt disadvantaged children from Africa or other poor parts of the Earth. So, how do you resolve this logical contradiction? Why do modern Christians have many children when most modern interpretations of Christianity seem to preach contradictory messages? nation (n.) c. 1300, nacioun, "a race of people, large group of people with common ancestry and language," from Old French nacion "birth, rank; descendants, relatives; country, homeland" (12c.) and directly from Latin nationem (nominative natio) "birth, origin; breed, stock, kind, species; race of people, tribe," literally "that which has been born," from natus, past participle of nasci "be born" (Old Latin gnasci), from PIE root *gene- "give birth, beget," with derivatives referring to procreation and familial and tribal groups.
