We've had them in IFB and IB churches to the sides and behind the pulpit. I have no problem with showing respect for the U.S. Flag and the Baptist Flag on the platform area. For that matter, as a retired Navy man I like it. Our new pastor had them both removed. I honor the Lord first and God's under shepherd of the local church second. For me the flag represents the authority God permitted within our Declaration and U.S. Constitution. I don't come into the sanctuary and give the flag a salute, either one of them. I don't worship nor give undo honor to our nation's flag. Honor to the flag is such a little thing and has never been a part of worship toward God in any church I've attended or been a member of.

Because I may not be on here over the weekend, I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas a few days early! Though this has been a strange year for many of us, we know the Lord has used everything that has transpired during 2022 in our lives to try and help us to become the children of God that we need to be. I pray you all remember the true meaning of Christmas, and are thankful for His coming to earth to free us from sin. Of course, with his birth, his true purpose was known, his death and the shedding of his blood to cleanse us from our sin, the ressurection to guarantee the victory over death and new life for us, and the ressurection to "go and prepare a place" for us, leaving us with the command to preach the Gospe and help build his kingdom.
May each of you have a wonderful, thankful time together, and may the Lord continue to shine his face on you and give you peace and guidance.
    Blessings,
    BrotherTony

It doesn't matter how much personal experience we provide. The lost need to hear the word of God and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit...  John 6:63 "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."

Oh, I was just thinking about people who will say the believe in Jesus, but actually make him lesser than the Father.
Alot of messianic Jews seem to do this in my experience as an example.

No one is knocking other believers for watching it - BUT it is an act of love according to God to warn other believers of things that are sinful or that will harm them. It is not "liberty in Christ" to let false teachings or sinful/harmful things to go unchallenged - in fact, it is cowardice and sinful to do so.
Leviticus 19:17-18 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.
James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
The Bible teaches to expose and separate from false teachings - which means standing against them. You cannot do so and remain silent when it is there or in the lives of those around you.

Stirring to me, I appreciate what you're doing. If you have the opportunity I hope you use it. If a woman would pause long enough to listen, and my old memory worked, I would share the story.

Actually, God used a lot of "evil king/s" to make His preserved word. Do a search in your favorite KJV app for "king" then specifically look for "he did evil". God uses these circumstances to teach His people what not to do and in many cases to correct His people when they stray. Such as, Nebuchadnezzar and Herod.

God uses who He chooses to complete the task (His will). Abram, Moses, Saul, David, Nebuchadnezzar, examine their lives and you'll find they were imperfect too. James must have demonstrated a characteristic which God decided would fit His purpose. It worked! we have the preserved Word of God for English speaking people.

It is pretty obvious to us events are speeding up and most of us know what those events are speeding toward. They are speeding to the Great Event of the Lord Jesus' coming for His bride, praise God!

The baby killers are always focused on the needs of the mother, not the child.  That says a lot about them.
The murder of an un-born child in her mother's womb is the most selfish and heinous act a person can make.
As for the 11 year old, I ask why should the innocent baby be murdered because of the sins of another?
In their heart they know, they just change the subject or start calling you names.  They're demonic because it's such an evil position to take.
I was one of them once, used to run them off the sidewalks outside clinics in my car.  Then by the grace of God I saw my first sonogram and that was it, I saw life and quit pretending God didn't exist.
I love to show this first photo of our youngest daughter at 6 weeks of age.  I could see her heart beating.  She just turned 18.

Yes, the Mormon influence is clear, and was even admitted in the program that Kirk Cameron has. It's truly a shame that he is linking up the Mormon's here, calling them "Brothers." Their religion IS NOT and NEVER WILL BE Christian.

Of course, this has no bearing on anything negative to do with the show (ha, ha, sarcasm for the win!!):
The character of Jesus just quoted the book of Mormon in the trailer for season three of the show - "I am the law of Moses."
Mormon influence, ecumenical work uniting false Christs (what is the plural of Jesus) together, something to be avoided if you care about truth? Naw, that would just be legalistic and judgemental and unloving and... Oh, no one is still reading this thread...

I see many videos of Ben Shapiro's Q&A sessions on YouTube when he speaks at a University. When they bring up the extreme cases you're talking about he usually just points out how those specific circumstances only account for a small percentage of abortions and shouldn't be used to form an overall option on the subject.
While most pro choice seem to be a waste of time to argue with because they always fall back on their own definition of what when baby becomes a living being there are some counter arguments I like. To me the most thought provoking is pointing out how they champion individual rights to life and choice UNLESS it the rights of baby itself... especially if the baby was female and the parent took away it's rights to live.
The pro choice stance is one position that I find extremely difficult to understand. To me the issue is clearly nothing less than mass murder and on la arger scale than all the school shootings put together that they love to use as a chance to talk about taking away everyone's firearms.

Thanks brother. I attended prayer meeting yesterday evening for the first time since Sep 4. Yes, an AMEN and Answered Prayer emoji would be nice. Thanks to all who prayed for me. I thank God for the bodies He gave us, able to heal itself from the nasty diseases and maladies we've brought on ourselves after the fall.
Revelation 21:4   And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Revelation 22:3   And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
    NO MORE! AMEN!

Thanks. I feel fine now. A little cough with some congestion is all I have. I've mowed yard, taken down the tomato plants, cleaned the grill, and just a little weariness after exertion.

Thanks everyone. If I were to compare it to past flu episodes, I would say it ranked with the worst I've had. But, I only give it that rating because of the severity of the headaches for 2 days.  I'm on my way back and even mowed the grass yesterday and today. Thanks for the prayers.

I was trying to tell the difference between covid 19 and the colds/flu I had before.  I was coughing out of my lungs.. deeper cough.. than before and the experience of having breaks in concentration and feeling down were different than before.

I pray you recover quickly ?
