  1. If it comes to jail, so be it. Anyway, the idea that preachers and churches MUST do weddings and funerals is Catholic, not Bible nor law.

I dunno.  To me a whole lot of this is way to Catholic.  Their for social justice and conservative social issues too.  That church has two sides to it and what I think.  The pope will take it anyway he can get it.  lol.  So as long as he is over every King and President he will take that deal.  I also think with them the members of the RCC the pope is in charge they like it like that.  One day you just may have a Catholic majority in this country.  Some people just want to win at any cost.  Bill O'Reilly sounds oh so good to so many.  That can be a very activist "church".  I stay away from that kind of thing.  They never did things like that in the NT.  No one can find that to my satisfaction.  All I can ever find is preaching the Gospel. There is an old saying,  If you lay down with dogs your going to get fleas.   All these people that Christians follow these days seem like straight talkers however the whole thing seems to be going sideways to me. Come out from among them and be separate.  Probably means about 12 different things to 12 different Bible believing Christians these days  To me it means stay away from everybody and everything that isn't. That includes TV and also political opinion that's composed of all kinds of different people.  Preach the Gospel its what God asked you to do.

  2.

If that Baptist church is teaching that doing those things is the heart of the Gospel they are as wrong as the Pope.

The heart of the Gospel is Christ, the only means of salvation.

Those works wrongly being called the heart of the Gospel are fruits of salvation.

Exactly. You can hit anyones conscience with the law.  Nice trick on his part (pope).   People that don't have Salvation don't understand the things of God. However there is the law.  Which they do have.

  3. Why are you quoting this Antichrist Jesuit?

Because sometimes it helps to know how people are trapped.  Thats what I call a "Papal curve ball"   He throws a lot of them.  You take that passage on its own. Hey looks good.  It's not the whole council of God of course.  Just like any cult they pick out one or two verses.  That means nothing to you but to the trapped and the people considering its confusing. The whole council of God is the entire Word of God.  You don't just pick out one verse to justify your works based anthem.   I hope no one shrunk back from the commie cross.  Another papal curve we won't put that commie cross in any church.  lol what next to all your other idols?   The catholic "church" is very slippery with over they say:  1.1 Billion members.

A lot of people "hear" these popes with their conscience.  That includes many Harlots.  The world can understand him hey even the media can agree with some of what he says if it fits their conscience.  That goes for Israel too.  Who went their own little way deciding what was righteous on their own (the Law).  Instead of submitting to Gods righteousness.

Read the Gospel, Francis answered on Tuesday, specifically Matthew 25. In that passage, Jesus says that in the Last Days, Christians will be asked whether they fed the hungry, clothed the naked, visited the sick.

"This is the heart of the Gospel," the Pope said.

  5. Now that we have established diplomatic relations.  I am thinking about hoping a plane.  Going down there and preaching.  I may not do it this summer.  However I am seriously considering it. Just little ole me and maybe I can get some of my compadres to go with me.   Any input, advice?

  6. Potatochip,

All of us are very thankful for you taking to opportunity to use the freedom we do now possess and passing out tracts in Atlanta. I will be praying for your effort and soon will take advantage of the freedom to go myself to pass out some tracts myelf.

    Brethren,

As God has richly blessed us with many blessings as Americans, I just want to be thankful to the Lord Jesus for allowing me to be an  American.

I love the United States of America. I love the freedom that we enjoy as Americans. And I love the blessings that God has allowed our country to bestow on its citizens.

And I am thankful to be a veteran of the United States of America. I would gladly join up in any of the Armed  Forces of this great country in defense of the freedoms that we enjoy. I love the Stars and Stripes and am still proud that  God allowed me to an active part of her defense in the time of war.

I am thankful the God above has richly blessed the United States both in material wealth, spiritual wealth, and the blessings of the freedom of worship.

"For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, an thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil." Romans 13:3 and 4

Amen Alan,   I like our military they keep harm from us.  Your probably closer to my age.  I can remember getting my card.  The war ending right after I got out of school.  That was a tumultuous time. Thanks for your service and Happy July 4! Alan.

  7. Yes, we still have some limited freedom and we should be using even that limited freedom to get the Gospel out while we can in such manner. I pray the Lord will bless the seed you scatter.

Hitler was a "Christian" in that he was a Catholic but he certainly wasn't a Christian in terms of being a biblically born again follower of Christ.

Oh you bet there John81 I'll be careful of any roadblocks. Thank you.  I like scattering seed.  I'm thinking about getting a big sign for large crowds with salvation verses.   Hitler believed in Arianism and a few other things.  He was a politician appealing to a populist base in a democratic country.  He said a lot of things.  It's kind nonsensical to consider him Christian.  Atheists are liars anyway.  I asked him if he wanted to move to China or North Korea with his atheist brethren.  After all they are atheist countries.  He didn't know what to say obviously so he countered with Hitler was christian.  They say they are reasonable and use reason.  All I have ever seen is pointing the finger right back at someone.  They have no plan they just don't like Christianity and want to get rid of it.  So why not not move where atheism is official. After all that's the kind of government atheism produces.  Instead of sticking around to tear this place down.   I can't help think about the Hebrews wanting a King so God let them have one.  It's the government they wanted way back when.

  8. All I know is I get to run up and down the street tomorrow in crowds of thousands and thousands hand out tracts.  Preach the good news and no one will say anything.  I can't however go to centennial park the other 4th celebration because it is run by State government.  They don't allow it. For some reason.  However the Big fireworks is at one of the malls.  I'm happy with that one.  Then after that i'll go home and yell at the dog and complain about the weather.

I actually just had an atheist say that Hitler was Christian in response to me citing what happens when atheists governments get in power.  Hitler a Christian?  That doesn't even make sense.

  9. That guy is right on the money.

Persian power was long ago. The most recent to control India was the British. When the British dismantled their empire in the region they did just as mentioned in the video. They created artificial nations with artificial borders designed to create chaos and weakness. The conflict between Pakistan and India is a result of this, as is the current conflicts in the Middle East.

There are a lot of persians in there.  I know one.  Shes the wife of one of the evangelists I go with.  She was severely beaten for becoming Christian in India.  Interesting story.  Its true they aren't in power however I believe they ruled there for a long time.

  10. About 90 miles West of Dubuque, IA off of US 20

There's also a Waterloo in Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Illinois and Georgia (North of Tifton on the Waterloo Hwy)

Never been to Tifton that I can remember.  I will be in Atlanta tomorrow however its going to be a big day.  Big crowds.  Many in need of Salvation I would guess.  Glory to God.

  11. Due to the anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo I asked around about that. Other than blank stares and wild guesses, the best two answers I received were from older ladies. One thought it must have something to do with a battle with American Indians near a Waterloo, Iowa

lol Waterloo, Ia.   I didn't know there was such a place.

  12. It's a mess LuAnne that's for sure.  The only Joy I seem get out of life is preaching the gospel.  All the discontent that seems to be in society.  Which there is a lot of sensationalism that the news loves to hunt for.  But it's still a fallen world.  It's enough for me that the governments keep cops on the street and protects us from external people that would harm us. The one institution that God ordained to keep order in a land,  government.  One could say they are finding rights in the Constitution that don't exist there.  I mean the overturning of the sodomy laws given the health risks.  The one that really got me and my jaw hit the floor was sodomite adoption I just can't get over that one. I still can't believe that is legal.  This marriage thing in my opinion is nothing compared to that malady.  Like I say following lust porn,  sin all over TV.  Were some of the major causes in my opinion.  Christians need to keep in mind God hands a person over to being a sodomite.  They aren't born with it.  It's not another's influence.  It was never psychological. Not retaining God in their thought pursuing the creature instead of the creator.  God says thats it thats just about enough.  It's interesting that its such a small percentage of the population so my guess is it takes a lot to get to that point where God gives them over.  Given the way society is this could be the tip of a future iceberg of whats coming with people that deny God.  I don't know.

  13. Episcopal Church approves gay marriage, allowing religious weddings for same-sex couples -  http://bit.ly/1UaktOB

Oh of course thats where a lot of this started.  With Bishop whats his face.  Look I don't know if your out in the rural areas.  John81 a lot of these apostate church's are in the city and the suburbs.  I don't know how to put it all you would have to see.  Yuppies lol thats what they used to be I guess.  Now with the coexist bumper stickers you know with all the symbols of all religions. Some of the poor in the city where I am are some of the finest believers in Christ you will ever find.  They will talk to you about Jesus in long conversation.  Works salvation churches are just that works salvation churches.  They get so goofy with their works they don't know which way is up any more.  True.  Salvation is believing in Jesus for Salvation of course thats it.  When your not your own.  Then He works in you to do his will.  Faith without works is dead.  Tell that to a Catholic or someone from her offspring church. Faith without works is dead.  Its like picking lotto numbers to them as in accord to picking out random verses.  If you don't have Jesus your not saved and its confusing.  Their pastors don't get it (obvious), they don't get it.  Its just some really good person (even if they admit the Trinity) with some really good works that they need to teach society and be examples for.  You would have to see for yourself what I am talking about.  I'm used to it.  United Methodist, PCA, Episcopal.  There is a whole list that has virtually the same approach as the RCC in their services.  PCA might be the exception.  They have some very activist people in those church's.  Meanwhile in the inner city.  You have a lot of Bible believing Christians its what you don't see on the news.

  14. The RCC doesn't even use the Bible.  They don't teach it in their schools they use catechism.  They add in Saints, purgatory, Mary etc.  Social Gospel first time I heard that was from an Assemblies of God congregant.   Another words trying to cure the ill's of a fallen world and fallen man by implementing the "principles" of the Bible.  Letting congregants go out there and fight the "good fight" and change society or convince society to see things their way using the Gospel in some cases to address any social ill.  The Gospel is the Gospel intended for Salvation not to debate issues with.  On the other hand I did seen Franklin Graham the other day use some verses for Salvation on Fox News.  "Jesus died for your sins" He managed to get quite a few verses in.  1 Timothy 115 made me aware of that they were using Salvation verses.  I never noticed that.

I try not to be judgemental.  Hey 600 miles away on a computer you can do that.  In person well.  It can become an unpleasant debate.  So I try with an IFB pastors advice I might add.  To focus on Salvation, Bible verses.   Leave the apologetics and the controversial topics till I am done preaching the Good News because in some cases they will bring those topics up.  It's good to know apologetics to respond to what is being said.  However after preaching the Gospel to that person or persons.  Just a note a lot of these street preachers - not all that get into these verbal street brawls are arminian which teaches you can loose your salvation.

Being that man was an Assemblies of God congregant as I mentioned above.  He of course believed in the "prosperity gospel".  The poor are rich in faith how many times does the Bible have to address that issue of the poor have people ignore it.  God mentions the poor of His people afflicted and oppressed, several times.   In the city you get the people shot in crack deals gone bad and other maladies on that nights news.  Yet you talk to a whole lot of people without they very much believe it's surprising really, hey some people are happy with what they have.  God hears the cry of the poor the Bible says it.  Jesus doesn't recognize flesh that would be respect of persons.  He does know if your his or not.

On the other hand with these apostate churches.  I have to agree with what several IFB pastors have said.  They line up with the RCC way to much and are pretty much offshoots of the RCC.  So one could say its a fine line but its not those church's believe in works salvation.  I would rather that term be applied instead of "social gospel", works salvation would be more accurate.

  15. I was looking at the Foxnews website.  They had a story with a video of St. Lukes Episcopal "church" in Atlanta.  It's an intown church.  Those people actually all gave a standing ovation and were cheering loudly because of the Same sex marriage ruling.  I don't know.  lol.  I wonder if those people even look at a Bible.  When we do outreaches and we are near one of those apostate "churchs".  We are really active in seeking those people out.  They need Salvation.

  16. I dunno correct me if I am wrong.  This is the one thing God hands people over to.  Outside of Jewish people I would surmise.  It's not your run of the mill thing.  I dunno that's the one place you find reprobate mind.  Dictionary describes it among other things as a depraved mind.  Which could be.  I have seen it described in Bible footnotes as a "failed mind".  I think its a  more serious condition in any case vs unsaved sinners if there could be such a thing.  Given the numbers vs the general population.  It doesn't occur frequently. Some people go to sodomite parades and use signage, bullhorns, tracts, preach. I won't go to one of their circuses.  If they are there they are there I'll preach and tract but I won't go out of my way.  I never assume someone is a sodomite people really never make it known that they are if your out preaching the Gospel.  Stop and think their condition is pretty far gone.  I hope those who try have success. There are just too many people out there unsaved at the places I go to, youth etc.  For me to concentrate my efforts on one or two people.  However if someone happened to be say in immediate sphere of travel I might try.  The Gospel saves not friendship.

  17. Amen Standing Firm.  I may not always get there but I try.  Lord willing.

A story.  I was handing out tracts at an intown festival in a trendy inner city neighborhood.  You know the kind where a lot of the cars have the coexist bumper sticker  Fairly large festival got some lemonade in very very hot weather at a booth that was run by the local Church of God in Christ.  Ordered and the guy I assumed was the pastor said whatcha got? Looking at my tracts.  I didn't hand him one he insisted.  lol.  Got my lemonade meanwhile he had handed it to his wife who after reading it handed it back to me and said:  "We aren't interested".  She didn't say were saved.  Which prompts me to tell them to give the tract to someone that isn't.  I never refuse people tracts.  I don't know if it was because it was hot or what.  I just didn't want to give him one.

The apostate church's are probably having a hootenanny about now.  I remember that Bishop whats his face causing the divide in the Episcopal church.  That was a big part of this people seem to have forgotten.  The pope is probably winding up with that papal curve ball right about now.  lol.  The Roman Catholics are probably still in Communion with the Episcopal see.  I bet he says something swell.  To try and convince Bible believers hes just jake.  (papal curve).  One day that part of the root of the problem will be gone.

  18. One of the biggest problems with the citizens of the world is they think continually changing the rules will make things better.  Everyone thinks of changing the world and no one thinks of changing himself.

Thats what more than some of the Bible is about.  I agree.

  19. Of course Ukulelemike.  Its going to be trendy.  Thats not good at all.  I got salvation and was swept out of "trendiness" for which I am really grateful.  Many may not become that way -sodomite.  There's a line you just don't cross over.  It's not convenient.  What I am saying is its not a lifestyle "choice".  It's not by influence.  It's cause.  Then God gives them over to vile affections. The world doesn't get that it is not cause and effect.  It's God purposely giving them over to that.  It could be Gods judgement to hand them over.  That I am not sure however God does that.  For worshipping the creature.  Bible says preach the Gospel to every living creature how that breaks down from the original language I don't know the word "creature" out of Greek or Hebrew.  People may dabble but that isn't their way.  They may say things they don't mean also because it is "trendy".

  20. Hi John,  Well I guess I helped "wreck it".  I can hardly remember it.  I was not a Christian back then.  A strange thing happened back then when my grandmother died.  She was the closest relative that I knew that died.  It was like the first funeral I went to.  Things changed.  I took on a lot of my parents values.  Pretty conservative.  I changed my lifestyle.  A lot of people see doom here.  I see a whole lot of people running for cover.  Not just committed Christians.  A lot of young people are probably perplexed, confused.  TV is a a lot of it filled with sin its no conspiracy.  It's just sin filled.  Whats worse promoting the sodomite lifestyle or nudity?  its a clever thing sin is.  A lot of whats sold and the programming all involve sinners enticing  people with sin.  TV has always been that way a lot of people disagree with me of course.  It brings the world your supposed to come out and be separate from into your home.   Saved Christians I don't necessarily worry about thats a pastors job.  I'm no pastor of course I believe in eternal security.  I'm not going to assume all millennials think this sodomite business is swell either.  In a way its like opportunity like say relations with Cuba.  Conservatives may not like it.   Liberals may laud it.  A missionary well he's going to see it as opportunity get his hiking boots on and a plane ticket and go for it.  Thats pretty much all I saw when relations were re-established opportunity for the Gospel.

  21. 70% of millennials are for sodomite "marriages" verses 49% of baby boomers

Porn, lust are like a lit match near gasoline.  It's just possible this stuff started way  back when.  When they ruled on obscene material.  Once again where you have legal porn you have sodomite marriage or unions.  That's my worry here.  This is just the beginning.  I'm not worried about free speech or religious freedom clearly spelled out.  Where a lot of other derivations they ruled on were not including sodomite marriage.  That 70 percent (young people) millennials are at high risk now of being swept into the vortex of the sodomite lifestyle.  TV is going to make all of this highly popular.  Wise thing for a parent to do is chuck the TV and the computer or take measures.  That includes the cell phone.  I am not sending money to defend free speech or religious freedom to anyone that's very plain.  Nor sit around wringing my hands saying this is surely then end there's going to be a lot of that God told Abraham is there is one righteous man left he would not destroy Sodom.   What I am going to try to do is preach the gospel to every young person or get them a tract I can find.  Even going out of my way.

  22. This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

I mean that verse gets me lol.   I watch all this going on.  Many are going to go at it tooth and nail over the next Presidential election lol.  I really like you folks.  If you followed a strict interpretation of the Bible.  You would pay attention to the Bible and forget all the other nonsense and really marvel at some of the stuff that's going on.

have you ever voted in a political election?

I dunno Pilgrim whats that verse mean to you?

Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve

  23. Which was my first premise sin is delusional and leads to delusion.  The truth of Gods word is clear.  It's life and peace.  Sin is destruction.  It destroyed Adam and Eves life.  Thats a lot of destruction to mankind.  God is saying obey that IS the good life.  We have salvation of course.  However we are going through this present darkness.  I hate the world.  If sin had not entered the world.  I more than likely would have liked it.  Take heart Jesus has overcome the world.  He gives us peace not like the world however.  Because sin is in the world.  Just a word again on television.  Just a peek is no good.  Talk about viral. Its probably going to get really bad.  I'd chuck it out the window if I had kids.  Truth of it is brothers.  These young people I am going to try to get where they are everywhere I can.  Whats going on is bad stuff young people don't know.  Many times they just go with the culture.  You see a young person please give them a tract or tell them about Salvation.  Anyone under 7 or near if I can figure it out I ask the parent.
