Thank you for your testimony and thoughts about the homeless and how a person should deal with the extreme trials that can came to our life.
I also appreciate the following comment that you made as it also pertains to this lesson on Joseph and being a servant in the house of Potiphar. "They failed to appreciate the fact and the vital life lesson that even though they had been demoted and lost their houses -- it was still a "step-up" from being homeless. "
In my next devotion on Joseph, Genesis 39:7-23 (primarily verses 21-23), we will notice that even as Joseph is brought further down in the station of life, in prison, 'demoted' as you wrote, he still remains steadfast in his faith towards God, maintains his integrity, and works at his demoted station in life as diligently as before.

I appreciate your comments Dan.
I also appreciate your reference to Matthew 23:12, "And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted." Joseph was a humble person who relied upon God, never got bitter, nor arrogant, but waited for God to fulfill His prophecy in His timing.

Thank you for uploading the sermon on Acts 15:12-41.
I appreciate what you said at the conclusion, "All the while the primary goal is not to harm and keep pure the gospel ministry, in spite of any unresolved personal differences. "

Acts 15:1-11 We are NOT Israel (Separation of Church and State) Whole Bible Baptist Preaching

Very good message on the history of circumcision, started by Abraham and the patriarchs, (John 7:22 & Acts 7:8), and the distinction between Israel and the church.
I enjoyed your exposition concerning this matter, Acts 15, circumcision, the nation of Israel, the Gentiles who get saved, and salvation through faith.
Your exposition of Acts 13:39; 21:20-29; 24:1-21; and 26:1-8 and Galatians 1:13-24, is commendable.

Jim,
Thank you very much for this devotion on, 'Contrary Doctrine,' based on Romans 16:17
You hit the nail on the head on the following observation, "Why are there different doctrines among professing churches? We have possession of God’s Word. We also have division, sects, creeds and denominations, Why? Because they refuse to submit their whole moral being to the authority of the Scripture."
As you mentioned, the "contrary doctrines" from the false teachers, in the false churches, stem from the commandments of men, "The ‘so called’ church has wholly departed from the authority of the Word of God. In these churches, things are taught that have no foundation in the Scripture. They not only tolerate, but sanction and defend that which is in direct opposition to the mind of Christ. He spoke of them in Mat.15:8-9. This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."
God bless!

Lila,
Thank you for your comments. Suffering for the cause of Christ does unite fellow saints.
Your comments reminded of the words of Paul when he said, "And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it." 1 Corinthians 12:26
Thank you again for your comments.

John,
I just finished listening to the sermon on Leviticus 18.
I appreciate your boldness in proclaiming the truths of the moral obligations that God commanded to all men, in all countries, in all dispensations, as recorded in Leviticus 18.

Leviticus 18 - Social Abominations God Hates (A baseline for Nations)
in Devotionals
A group sermon by Devotionals
I appreciate reading your summary of Leviticus 18. The same moral sins listed in the Law of the Old Testament, Leviticus 18 as one example, are still still an abomination in the sight of an Holy God.
The immoral customs of the land of Egypt, the world, is not, repeat not, to do practiced among the saints in any dispensation or in any any country. "After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances." Leviticus 18:3
The Apostle Paul stated, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2
When I have time I will listen to the full sermon.

Leviticus 20 - Giving Seed to Molech (Penalties for Abomination)
in Devotionals
A group sermon by Devotionals
John,
Thank you very much for uploading this sermon on Leviticus 20. I do appreciate your devotion on holiness, sanctification and being godly in the sight of God.
As you aptly brought out, the evil life style, and the abominations, of the heathen in the Old Testament is still evil and abominable in our society under the New Testament. As God abhorred the evil sexual acts, and the practices, of the world in the Old Testament so does God abhor the evil sexual acts in the New Testament.
The message reminded me of 1 Corinthians 10:6, "Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.” and Romans 15:4, “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
May the Lord bless you as you remind your congregation of the holiness of God, the wickedness of the customs and abominations of our society, and the sanctification of the righteous.

A fine devotion.
I especially enjoyed the quotation of Romans 8:15, "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father."

Luke. 16:12 And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?
Thank you for your kind words Jim.
As you mentioned in Luke 16:12, one of the tests in the life, in the life of the unbeliever, and the believer, is for God to see how we treat the possessions, and well-being, of other people. If we are are not faithful in what another man has; how can we be faithful in what God wants to give us?
Paul the apostle further stated, "Moreover it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful" 1 Corinthians 4:2 a steward is to faithfully take care of another man's possessions and faithfully do the duty of another man. Paul is primarily stating this conduct of a man's character to the minister of the gospel. Therefore, as stewards of the grace of God, as stewards of the proclaiming of the gospel of God, we are to be found faithful in our personal conduct, in the ministry, and in doctrine.

Ronda,
Thank you very much for your comments. It is a blessing to my heart to know that the devotion was a blessing to you.
I also appreciate your dedication in trying to bring others to Christ and His righteousness. As you stated, so many in the Charismatic Movement (the leaders and the followers), as so caught up in emotions, seeking wealth, health, and the things of the world, they miss the eternal blessings of salvation and the righteousness of Christ.
Keep up the good work in witnessing; in person and online.
As always, I do enjoy your comments and testimony on how the Lord is using you in these last days.
May the Lord bless and keep you.

"2Sa_22:31 - As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him."
Thank you for the devotion. The illustrations, the personal testimony, the scripture passages, all were a blessing.

Jim,
Thank you for your testimony concerning your relationship with Wu Cheng. We are very thankful that you were able to led him to a salvation experience with the Lord Jesus. Sometimes, as with Wu Cheng, due to their background, culture, religion, ancestor worship, and other situations, their salvation experience is often dramatic and life changing.
It was also a blessing to hear that your personal relationship with Wu Cheng was a blessing in your heart and life. I am sure that you were a blessing to Wu Cheng as he was to you. A Christian Chinese as a friend is a wonderful blessing.
Chinese is a very hard language to learn: both spoken and written. Deep within the history of the Chinese race is the work of God among them to bring them to Christ. Although written Chinese is a complex language; as you said, it is a wonderful language, and God has His hand in it in order to show His love to the Chinese race. In eternity we will understand the work of God in all of the races of the world and spend eternity renewing friendships as you had with Wu Cheng.
I am sure that all of us enjoyed hearing your testimony.

Thank you for the devotion.
As the message stated, all of us need to spread the gospel seed around the world in order to tell the saving story of the gospel of Christ to every creature.
