  1. Jim,

I am glad to hear that the devotion was a blessing to you. As with many other saints, the life, the character, and the moving incidents in the life of Joseph, are an inspiration.

Throughout the life of Joseph, we can see God moving His hand in the life of Joseph to use him for the deliverance of the Jewish race, the deliverance of the Egyptians, and we can see the character of Christ.

Truly, Romans 8:28 is evident in Joseph's life, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."  As Joseph loved God, so should we.

  2. Thank you for your study on the differences of the Convents, and Promises in the scriptures.

I personally appreciate the fine history (short), on the worship of God by the Chinese in ancient China.

Also, I appreciate the following statement, "We show how the natural divisions and terms already in scripture are there to aid the believer in their study."

    God bless! ?

Bennett Spring State Park, a favorite location to visit for all of my family, is located on Highway 64 going west from Lebanon, Missouri approximately 13 miles. Bennett Springs State Park has a large fish hatchery for Rainbow Trout and is a very popular place for fishermen and locals from the area.

  3. Thank you for the encouraging sermon on Psalm 89. As you mentioned, we are in a war: battles will be fought, and sometimes we cannot see the victory in the grand scheme of things. But, God knows what He is doing and victory will come in due time.

Every saint can rest in the promise in Psalm 89:34, "My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips."

"Blessed be the LORD for evermore. Amen and Amen." Psalm 89:52

    Keep up  the good work.

  4. Thank you very much for this devotion on charity, on love.

I appreciate the definitions that you brought out with Strong's. They were very appropriate and added to the message.

Jerry, I gathered that  this message was preached at a mission. If so, do you still have this ministry?

Looking forward to more of your devotions.

I would like to thank Rebecca for letting me know about the, "Gospel Hymns Instrumental,' website for his devotions song. Note: The original

music selection became unavailable so I changed it to, on October 29, 2019,  the current, "Beautiful Instrumental Hymns." Alan

I do hope that the instrumental hymns are a blessing to you.

May the Lord bless all of you.

"But the LORD was with Joseph"

As we go through the life of Joseph in these devotions, I would like to express to all of you that God was with Joseph in all of the extreme trials that he went through. Joseph, as with all of God's saints, and the favoured nation of Israel, are led through the trials of life in order to know God,  His will, and experience the work of God through our lives for our good and the good of others; Romans 8:28

As we can see in the life of Joseph, and his love for God, and his trust in God, God has been with Joseph and God will work out all things for his good. The Chinese have a saying, a proverb, that may be a blessing to you as it has been to me.

「天理昭彰」Translated into English, it says that, "The law of heaven always prevails."

The will of God will be performed in the life of Joseph as, "... the LORD was with Joseph."

May God richly bless all of you

    The Kindness of God

    Daniel,

Thank you for bringing out Romans 5:20, "Moreover, the law entered, that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound." Romans 5:20 was a welcomed addition to this devotion on the kindness of God.

    Trust in the Lord

Dan, I appreciate your thoughts. All of the good things that come in our life are from God in heaven; James 1:17

God is our heavenly Father who desires to bless His children. Matthew 7:11,  says, "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?" The Sermon on the Mount story of the father in Matthew 7:9-11 who gave his son his desires is a testimony of the goodness of God to His children who ask Him for the desires of their heart as according to His will.

    Thanks!
