In Revelation 20:1-7 we have the literal 1000 Year Reign of the Lord Jesus. In verse 1 and 2 Satan is bound during this time.The prophecies of Zechariah 14:4, 8,10 and 11 are fulfilled. the Milleninal Temple that Ezekiel prophesied in Ezekiel chapter 40-48 is also fulfilled; literally.

Isaiah 65:20, "There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed."

During the Millenium people will live for a long time, as in Genesis before the flood, but the Millenial reign is not heaven nor is it considered eternity.

In Revelation 20: 7-10 Satan is loosed, for  a very short period and, again, deceives most of the world. After the great battle of God and Magog, Satan is cast into the lake of fire for eternity; see Ezekiel chapter 38 and 39.

In Revelation 20:11-15 we have the final judgment, the 'Great White Throne of Judgment.'

Now, in Revelation 21:1 we read, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. and I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride for her husband." 

There will be no more death in heaven, heaven is on the earth at this time, and nOBody will die in eternity.

The passage from Isaiah 65:17-25 is referring to different times.

The prophets, as here, did not necessarily speak in the proper sequence of events.The proper order of future events is in the Book of Revelation. A lot of the confusuion is, at times, trying to put the proper sequence of events as the prophet spoke of them. In the Book of Revelation we have the complete and proper sequence of events. 

Isaiah 65:17, "For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come to mind." The proper sequence of the filfillment of this prophecy is recorded in Revelation 21:1, which is after the Millenium and the Great White throne of Judgment.

Isaiah 65:18-25 is a direct reference to the 1000 Year Millenial Reign of Christ.

Thank you for the good comments and the quote from Bach. Your spiritual discernment, coming from a musician, carries more weight than the same message coming from a layman. Keep up the fine work. The CCM movement is fleshly, carnal, and some of it outright Satanic. Extememly few of the songs glorifies God.

A pastor with spiritual discernment should recognize the evil in the CCM movement. The lack of spiritual discernment, and courage, is the main prOBlem.

Concerning Zechariah 2:6 & 7

OBviously it is referring to both the return of the Jews from Babylon to rebuild the Temple and it also prophetic, as Eric Stahl, points out. A lot of the prophesies had a dual meaning in the Old Testament prophets and this is one of them. Eric is correct and it is not a case of 'private interpretation.'

Excellent, indeed very excellent, well researced article by Bro. Cloud. Bro. cloud has a God given talent to bring to light facts about the Bible and Bible issues that bring honor and glory to God in heaven and the validity of scriptures in any given subject.

All of us appreciate you very much and what you say makes us think and gives us some good discussions to listen to. It also kinda forces us to think what we really know about a subject, or a portion of scripture.

New Age beliefs are a part of necromancy.  When they, and other false prophets, use the name of 'God,'  speak of 'love,' and of 'tolerance,' etc... the promoters of these movements are just trying to deceive the saint who has no spiritual discernment.

Sad to say, there is not much spiritual discernment when the pleasure seeking thrills of the movie industry are a daily part of the saints life.

"Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them from before thee." Deuteronomy18:11 & 12

One day, soon I hope, the chaff will be seperated from the wheat.

I personally would continue to use the  word, 'president,' instead of 'govenor,' as some folks suggest. Let's stick to the KJV as it is written.

The biblical account of a world wide flood is not a prOBlem with a Bible believer. God wrote the account in the scriptures just as clear as He wanted it written. The prOBlem is with the heart not the head. the idea of a local flood is ludicrous and a fantasy from unbelievers.

The animals were not only prOBably in a dormant stage, but, of a younger age than full adult size. The modern day pictures of full sized stalls, and very large full mature animals is a modern idea.

The animals taken on the Ark were pre-selected by God and traveled to the Ark on their own accord, were of a smaller size than shown in most pictures and OBviously needed a smaller space to live and take care of; i.e, nests or small cubby holes. 

A true Bible believer does not look for prOBlems within the text, or try to downsize the account, or miracle, or try and make the biblical acount palatable to a dis-believeing religious society.  

What a shame on our country. Which is worse? A morally and fianancially loose liberal male governor or a liberal bi-sexual woman?

Dogs have more moral sense. At least a dog knows the difference between a male and a female and knows what the proper relationship is between the male and female. Does anybody need clarification on that last sentence?

Welcome to the last days of the modern Sodom and Gomorrah! The morals of these two politicians is a disgrace to any body with any morals left.

God's Covenant with Abraham, the Partiarch's, King David and the prophetic words of the prophets, have not been fulfilled as Dr. Burge, and others, teach through, 'replacement theology,' or 'fulfillment theology,' or some other method to replace the Covenent and promises to God to Israel.

I read the article on, 'Quantum."

I've heard, and read, most of the theories discussed in the article and came to the conclusion, as with Ukulelemike, evolutionary scientists do not want the truth and will reject any truth that does not fit their own beliefs; not facts. They are not after scientific facts, they are only after any theory that will not support creation.

There are a lot of scientific facts to support creation but insincere and unblievers reject them as they do not fit their theories. It is not a head prOBlem it is a heart prOBlem.

Furhermore, it takes more faith to believe any of their theories than to believe the scriptures. Most of them, including, 'The Gap Theory,' is pure fantasy invented by folks who are embrassed by the literal account of creation and are looking for a compromise with the world for vaious reasons. 

God made this uiverse in six days and rested the seventh. Very simple and truthful. All you need is a child like faith.

Bro. Cloud, Way of Life, has a fine article on the last days and scoffers, 2 Peter 3:3-7, on OnLine Baptist. I would suggest all of those with an interest in the last days to read it.

I throughly agree with Bro. Cloud. His exposition of 2 Peter 3;3-7 dovetails with other prophesies concerning the last days prior to the Rapture of the church and the start of the 7 Year Tribulation Period. The rise of Darwinism, and the public scoffing of a literal creation, the erroneous 'Gap Theory' among the brethren, in my viewpoint, is a fulfillment of the Apostle Peter's prophecy.

'No Nicolaitans' is correct in his proper quotation of the words of the Lord Jesus in Matthew 16:18 in this thread. The words of the Lord Jesus is very clear and no amount of 'clarification' is needed.

Furthermore, 'No Nicolaitans' is correct in his fine exposition of Romans 11:25-28 and in his 'rightly dividing the scriptures.' Only a true bible Believer, an independent Baptist that is true to the fundamentals of the faith, can do such a fine exposition of Romans 11:25-28 One of the prOBlems, in my estimation, is that some of the brethren are not solid independent fundamental Baptists and, on occasion, are incorrectly dividing the scriptures.

As 'No Nicolaitans' further pointed out, we need to read the rest of Romans 11 to fully discover that the Gentiles in the body of Christ are only 'grafted' into the tree of 'Israel.' The 'Tree,' the elect sons of Israel, is still alive and not forgotten by God. And, that the 'gifts and calling of God are without repentance.' Any fruit farmer can tell you without the tree the grafted branch will die and that all of the nourishment for the growth of the branch is in the tree; not the branch.

All of us Gentiles who have been grafted in into the 'tree' need to heed the admonition of Paul the Apostle and help the Jewish race (whether saved or lost), physically, as the Jewish race (whether lost or saved), has helped us spiritually, Romans 15:27 Every Christian is a debtor to the Jewish race.

God will once again use the literal sons of Israel to fulfull His perfect and complete will in the prophetic years ahead as recorded, literally, in the Book of Revelation.

1. The common accepted intrepretation of  the four Horseman in Revelation 6 among independent Baptists is correct. They are the person and work of the Antichrist during the 7 year Tribulation period.

As there is not enough space on this site for a complete review of the correct scriptual of the commonly accepted, and scriptually correct, interpretation of evelation 6 and the four Horsemen among independent Baptist. In fact, among the independent Baptist that I asociate with I do not know one of them them believes differently.

The interpretation of the four hoursemen being God's angelic servants has no basis in either Old Testament or New Testament prophecies.

2. The reference of Zechariah 1:8-11, 'red horse ... more red horses , speckled and white,' is not related to the four horsemen in Revelation 6 and is a miss-application of scripture.

Thank you for the fine article by Geri Ungurean, "The Cross and How Jews Preceive it." It is my hope that all of the brethren on OnLine Baptists read it and weep.

"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee." Psalm 122:6

Brethren, we should not only pray for the salvation of the sons of Isreal, but we should love the sons of Israel.

God will one day, during the Tribulation Period, raise up the nation of Israel, per numerous Old Testament prophesies and Covenants. The Gentile nations of the gospel of grace are grafted into the tree of Israel. One day God will cause the 'tree' to ripen to maturity is His due time as recorded in the Book of Romans, Revelation, Zephaniah, Zechariah, Malachi, et al. When the 'fulness of the Gentiles,' Romans 11:25, are fulfilled God will once again use the sons of Abraham, Isaac and JacOB, to fill the earth with His glory.

'Old Fashioned Preacher' is correct. The perception of 'Replacement Theology' has caused undue harm to our Jewish friends and is one of the reasons why Jews will not listen to the gospel of Jesus Christ.  'Replacement Theology' has hurt the cause of Jesus Christ and soul winning efforts towards the Jewish race since its inception. Like Calvinism, and other false doctrines, it breeds disOBedience to soul winning efforts and twisted logic to the promises of a Covenant keeping God.

The Book of Zechariah deserves more attention from all of us. There are some finer points of prophecy that need to be brought out.
