I am truly sorry to hear about your uncle and the grief your family has to go through. And we all know that the greatest silver lining in the midst of this is that your uncle is in Glory, and for us believers -- to die is gain.
Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. (Psalm 116:15)

Praying for the family now HC. May our Lord grant you all comfort and peace, knowing that he will be in glory awaiting you all.

Uncle George has gone to Glory. Please now be in prayer for the family. They are mostly all saved, and we know he was as well. But the grief is still very real.

Please pray for my husband's Uncle George. About an hour ago, he choked on a sandwich and quit breathing. They rushed him to the hospital, but he was unresponsive. I haven't heard anything since then, so I'm hoping no news is good news.
Uncle George is the one who married Randy and me. He is a good, kind, godly man and we love him dearly. He has several grown kids and grandkids, as well as a few greats. We know that, if he passes, he will be in Glory. But we will miss him so.
If you wouldn't mind adding my hubs to that prayer, I'd be ever so grateful. Being out here on the west coast with most of the family in the midwest makes it hard when family goes. An aunt and two uncles have passed since we moved out here.
Appreciate your prayers.

My wife is a wonderful, lovely, gorgeous, but slightly silly lady.
I say slightly silly for the simple reason that you would have to be at the very least slightly silly to put up with me for 29 years, and yet as of tomorrow, it will be 29 years ago that we were married.
I love her more now than I did then, and at that time, I didn't think it was possible to love a person more than I loved her.
So I am bragging about how wonderful she is, and how amazing she is that she could put up with me for so long.

Three pieces of string were wanting a cup of coffee each.
The first one walked into the cafe and asked the barista for a cappuccino. The barista looked him up and down and said "We don't serve string here". The piece of string walked out both feeling sorry for himself.
The second poece of string walked into the cafe and asked the barista for a flat white. The barista looked him up and down and said "We don't serve string here". The piece of string walked out both feeling dejected and suffering from coffe cravings.
The third piece of string had watched this happen and formulated a plan. He unravelled his top and tied a half hitch in his middle, then walked into the cafe and asked for a latte. The barista looked him up and down, considered for a minute then said to "Are you a piece of string?"
To which the third piece of string answered, "Frayed knot"..........

Please pray for me as I am having trouble recalling certain things to memory or get things mixed up. Sometimes my mind is crystal clear and then there are times when I don't even know what day it is. This one time I went to work on a Saturday thinking it was Friday. I appreciate all the prayers.

What joy!  Three of our grandsons were saved today!  The two oldest boys (15 and 17 yrs old) are both special needs boys, and that just goes to show how powerful God's love and His truths are and how they can pierce through and not be hindered by those special needs!  The youngest is almost 12 yrs old and he was the first of the three to ask the Saviour to save him.  "Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth" (Luke 15:7).  What glorious answers to this grandma's countless prayers!  I'm rejoicing with tears of praise, and ever grateful in prayer!  Yes, praise God from Whom all blessings flow!
I can't help but to add...
What an unspeakably joyous thing it was to hear the oldest young man ask Jesus to save him! To be told that his countenance was one of peace and serenity surely wrought the instant longing to join the very angels in Heaven and burst out in joyful song! Glory to God in the highest for all three of my grandsons accepting the gift of salvation! Praise the Lord for my grandsons' momma who led them to Him...and their daddy for also teaching them and desiring that they be saved!
In the quietness of your heart, if you will sweetly still yourself...you shall hear the RE-JOY-SING (JOY AGAIN and AGAIN!!!) in Heaven over these 3 precious young men!
