An elder led fellowship with these elder (say three) one or more must have a gift of pastors/teachers, one or more should have the gift of Helps And one or more should have the gifts of administration.

the gift of Prophecy only if he is speaking forth the word of God which will also include some prophecies not yet fulfilled.

only one use of the word pastor(Singular) in scripture  Jer 17:16 As for me, I have not hastened from [being] a pastor to follow thee: neither have I desired the woeful day; thou knowest: that which came out of my lips was

eight uses of the word pastors
    Jer 2:8 The priests said not, Where [is] the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after [things that] do not profit.  Jer 3:15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.  Jer 10:21 For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.  Jer 12:10 Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.  Jer 22:22 The wind shall eat up all thy pastors, and thy lovers shall go into captivity: surely then shalt thou be ashamed and confounded for all thy wickedness.  Jer 23:1 ¶ Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.  Jer 23:2 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.  Eph 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

There are six uses of the term bishop and you will notice the last one is a title of Jesus Christ.

1Ti 3:1 ¶ This [is] a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.  1Ti 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;  2Ti 4:22 The Lord Jesus Christ [be] with thy spirit. Grace [be] with you. Amen. <<[The second [epistle] unto Timotheus, ordained the first bishop of the church of the Ephesians, was written from Rome, when Paul was brought before Nero the second time.]>>  Tit 1:7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;  Tit 3:15 All that are with me salute thee. Greet them that love us in the faith. Grace [be] with you all. Amen. <<[it was written to Titus, ordained the first bishop of the church of the Cretians, from Nicopolis of Macedonia.]>>  1Pe 2:25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

the English word Shepherd is never used in any of Paul's writings to the church.  remember you can't rely on strong's dictionary as most of the Koine Greek words have Classical Greek meanings and this is one of them

Jesus is the chief shepherd of the church not a man.  Now an organization can do what they want but the organism of the body of Christ must recognize Christ as the head of the church
1Pe 2:25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the of your souls.  1Pe 5:4 And when the shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. Shepherd and Bishopchief Shepherd

I wasn't using the word Nephilim at all except in correcting someone who kept insisting that Gen 6 had the Hebrew word Nephilim when it was actually Nephiyl at least in the Hebrew dictionaries I have.

I don't read the apocrypha, I tried once about 19 years ago, it just doesn't have the life to as the Holy Bible does.

And on a side note, speculations are not the same as assumptions.

that is a touchy subject and I think it was someone on another forum (not saying that that person is on this form mind you) and she uses a dutch version of the ASV if I am not mistaken and some of the translation does not line up with the AV of which I replied that she would do better to accept the AV translation of Isa 14:12 of Lucifer rather than the Dutch ASV translation oh bright morning star.

And because there was contention.  so yes I know what you are saying and I don't care what version a person prefers but the AV is the only whole and complete without error translation in English today.  and no one has to agree with me on that.

God's word uses the word Liberal.

Isa 32:5 The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said [to be] bountiful.
Isa 32:8 But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand.

I suppose there's nothing I can think of against that. I'd just be very cautious about calling it a 'gap' theory as that could lead others to either think you're touting the 'official' gap theory or, after accepting your ideas, to accept traditional gap theory simply cause it has the same name (and yes, people do that kind of thing. It's called not researching things. )

My nephew, who is a saved young man, was bitten by a cobra in his foot as he walked home one night, he kicked off and ran home.  he had two holes from the fangs that turned black at the sight.  We all prayed for him and took him to the hospital.  there was nothing they could do because they don't keep snake anti-venom because it is too costly and must be kept refrigerated and in that place the power goes out all the time.

Nothing happened to him his foot didn't even swell only the bite turned black and later as it healed the spots fell off.

Yes, but....the salvation of man is tied to the sin of man, not the sin of angels. That Satan fell before he tempted Adam and Eve who subsequently introduced sin to mankind, has really no bearing on our doctrine of salvation. There is also no need to insert the fall of Satan into the Creation week. Gen 3 does not specify any period of time between the creation of man and the Fall of man. All that can be definitively said is that there was no sin in the first 6 days (Gen 1:31) and that the Fall happened in the first 130 years after Creation because the first length of time mentioned is that Adam was 130 yrs old when Seth was born (Gen 5:3). Therefore, the events of Gen 3-4 (the Fall and Cain & Abel) took place sometime in the first 130 years after God finished creating. We're not told how long Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden nor how much time passed between the expulsion and the births of Cain and Abel. The Fall could have happned on Day 8 of Year 1 or it could have happned on Day 245 of Year 54 or maybe Day 37 of Year 32. There is plenty of time for Satan to have fallen between Creation week and the Fall of man without reading it into any part of Genesis 1.

No body said that.  There is application for the body of Christ the church today and there are truths for those during the tribulation.  But if we blend the gospels found in the NT and make them one you have lost the truth of God's word and dealing with Israel and the promises to them as a nation.

Remember before the cross Jesus was preparing Israel for the Kingdom which was at hand.  It was fully rejected by Israel by Acts 7 and Christ sent forth the gospel of Grace alone through faith to Paul.

AVBibleBeliever got a reaction from Pastor Scott Markle in Spiritual Encouragement
I did not know which forum to put this in so I put it here.

I wrote this when I was in a time of need and spiritual quietness in 2012 and I reread it from time to time just to remind me of the truths I learned at that time.  I was a missionary for 17 years and many times I struggled but God always took good care of us.  I hope it will encourage those of you in need or when God is silent.

We are currently on furlough and are seeking God for his direction to either return or to open up another ministry for us.  Be blessed.

    The Battle is Afoot

As I continue in our work to declare unto the lost and saved all the counsel of God, I am met not just with the physical opposition of the lack of our daily needs but with the spiritual bombardment of the enemy and his fiery darts.  I have discovered that it is far easier to fight an enemy that is without than the enemy that is within, that is my flesh.  As i anticipate with clockwork the coming of the multiplicity of my responsibilities and commitments and see those days approach, my flesh becomes my worse nightmare and enemy.

The scenarios begin to race through my mind, I become fearful and anxious at the prospect of not being able to complete my monthly commitments and knowing the result is not to have the things we need to function normally. The thought that my children will not have their daily bread is heartbreaking or that we wont have electric or water to see, wash and drink, these begins to chip away at my very soul even unto despair.  I begin to question did I do the right thing?  Have I made the right choices?  Am I following the right course?  And as these questions pound in my head and my heart the fear and anxiety begin to kill my spiritual vitality and sap what little strength I have left.  I awake in the night and I begin to doubt and to cry out, Oh my Lord, why hast thou forsaken me .  I even want to raise my voice in opposition to what the Lord has allowed to take place.  And more importantly, why is it, the Lord remains so silent at this time of trial and tribulation.  The flesh and the devil begin to rattle their sabers in preparation of their victory to cry havoc and to destroy.

Then suddenly as a dry well that fills in Spring, God’s very words begin to well up as from a darkened pit within my soul.  Verses like, “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.  And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.  Romans 8:26-28.   And as God’s word begins to restore unto me the lost vigor from the fight others verses begin to make their way to the surface, like, “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Phl 4:6, 7   They come tumbling like stones that avalanche off a great mountain and hit my spirit with full force, wiping at least for the moment the enemy from the field. This help, that comes only from him and is not of me, only causes me to cease from fighting and to drop to my knees and praise him for his goodness and grace.  I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.  My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1, 2  I cry out unto him I know these verses, I have been taught them and memorized them.  These very simple words strike against the swords of my enemy and back them in the field of battle and for the moment abate their attack.

It is there that these verses become so much more richer and more meaningful than they ever were over the years, yet they only comfort for the day.  And as the day sets upon the battle I realize that in the morn a new line will be drawn and once again the enemy will strike and strike hard he will, ever pushing forward to take back any and all ground he can to deprive me of peace, to tire and weary me into submission at his mighty blows.

As I arise to face the new day I gaze upon the field to survey the enemies attack, I am often surprised that I have the vitality to carry on this difficult battle, yet at other times I find myself as weak as a child, as a David would seem against a Goliath.  I find the strength each day in him, to stand, to take up my sword, my shield, my armour of God on the right and the left, to wear the helmet of my salvation with honour, and as I ready myself his word again rolls across my hearts banner, “But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts 20:24

Well, that is my point precisely.

He has proven by his actions, his purpose, and his method, as well as his misuse and abuse of Scripture that he has no real integrity.

I want to find out if his lack of integrity extends to this matter of personal integrity.

He continues to refuse to answer any simple direct questions, and I can only come yo the conclusion that his personal integrity is sorely lacking as well.
He refuses to answer, so his silence gives that answer.

He doesn't answer questions he doesn't like.

He either gives a totally irrelevant ( and usually long) answer, asks questions about the question that are designed to shift the subject elsewhere, or simply ignores the question.
Oh and occasionally tells you that it is off topic.

It is his manner to avoid accountability and to deceive with misinformation and misapplication.

All scripture is interpreted the same way "literal" however we are never commanded to interpret scripture we are commanded to study and to rightly divide scripture.  Interpretation is from one language to another and that is already done in the AV from the TR and other documents.

The study of English scripture is done differently depending on the literature type which consist of Poetry, Proverbs, Parables, Narratives, Epistles and Prophecy.  In these we will find different figures of speech like Hyperboles and Allegories.

Once you identify the literature type you go into asking "who, what, when, where, why, which and how" of the scriptures.

When you have completed your your study with the seven questions, you use what you found to bring out an application for every day life situation for yourself.

Then you put it together to form a teaching/preaching.

P.S. If you reinterpret the English scriptures then it becomes a private interpretation.
