  6. Brother Smith,

I do apologize for taking so long in responding to your question.  The past number of days have been filled with family and ministry responsibilities, such that I have had very, very, very little time for Online Baptist.  Even now I only have just a few moments before this day is filled with such responsibilities.

First, I wish to thank you for your interest in my books and for your encouragement concerning my postings.

Concerning my books, they may be found at my website -- www.shepherdingtheflock.com.  Purchases from this sight will come directly from me and will require a shipping fee.  (Sorry to those outside of the mainland United States; I am not set up for such purchases.)  Also at my website, you may find my blog, wherein I post written articles and audio sermons as time permits.

My books may also be purchased at Amazon.com.  (Just do a search under the "book" heading for "Scott Markle.")  I believe that Amazon's prices are higher than mine; however, at Amazon my books are eligible for free shipping through Amazon Prime (which may make the cost cheaper than from me).  My books on Marriage, on Revival, and on the Tender Mercies of the Lord are also available from Amazon in Kindle format.

I pray that this information will be of help to you (and to others).

thank you pastor , I'm very selective in the books I read but I'm sure I will be blessed by yours. I kindly thank for your time to answer and for the information.

    God bless

  7. Brethren,

It is only partially doctrinally correct to say that Isaiah 25 and 1 Peter 1:9-13 is a reference to Calvary.

Isaiah 25:6-12 and 1 Peter 1:9-13 is speaking of Calvary, "and the glory that should follow." 1 Peter 1:11 is a direct reference to the 1000 (Millennial) reign of Christ in Revelation 20:3-7. To say that these verses are reference's to Calvary and not mention the true fulfillment of the prophecy of Isaiah and the Apostle Peter is not the entire truth of the future work, and coming glory, of the Lord Jesus.

Isaiah 25:7, "And he shall destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations." Is not a reference to Calvary but it is  a reference to the Millennial Reign of Christ as spoken in Revelation 20:3-7

Isaiah 25:8, "He will swallow up death in victory; and the LORD God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it." The reference in the New Testament to this verse, and the fulfilment of this prophecy, is not a reference or a fulfilment in Calvary; but, it is a prophecy of the new glorified body that every saint receives in the coming of the Lord Jesus (1 Corinthians 15:42-57), and all tears will be taken away after the Millennium as spoken of in Revelation 21:4

1 Corinthians 15:54, "So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written. Death is swallowed up in victory." This is a direct reference to Isaiah 25:8 and it is not referring to Calvary it is referring to the resurrection and is still future.

Revelation 21:4, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." This is the direct reference, and fulfilment, of Isaiah 25:8 and it is not a reference to Calvary but to the time, after the Millinnial Reign of Christ, and after the Great White Throne of Judgment; but during the formation of the New Heaven and the New Earth that God fulfills Isaiah 25:8

I do hope that this short study will be a blessing and a help to all in understanding the ultimate fulfilling of Isaiah 25:6-12 and 1 Peter 1:9-13

    Alan

    a blessing , Amen

    Thank Your Brother

  8. Amen John, Ted Cruz has no issues section on his website, instead there's Proven Record, recalling Matt 7:16, he bluntly ask ,when have you fought for your principles ,when have you bled for them, and what have you accomplished. The liberals twisted he words when he was fighting Obamacare, "when Jesus hang on a tree and died he left us alone to go set at the right of God and America needs to turn to Jesus. They got one thing right "America needs to turn to Jesus. Amen.

Ted Cruz sees a particular susceptibility for candidates which wear their faith on there sleeves as convenient political grab.Donald Trump says he's a Presbyterian and proud of it. Ted Cruz gives testimony that he's a born again Christian and Jesus is his Lord and Savior.yep he's right.

  9. very interesting about the evangelicals. I wonder if they are talking about Bobby Jindal he says his first religion was Hindu until he became a evangelical catholic ?Scott Walker on the other hand was a SB and the church turned to liberal and joined a nondenominational evangelical church for their daughters sake.? And Ben Carson says he was baptized twice into the seventh day Adventist church.while Jeb Bush ,Marco Rubio, Rick Santorum, George Pataki, and Chris Christie are Catholics. Leaving Carly Florina as the only Episcopalian though she's not active in the church but once in a while.Jim Gilmore is a united Methodist, Rick Perry's independent Methodist. Donald Trump and Rand Paul Presbyterians, and Mike Huckabee , Ted Cruz, and Lindsey Graham are Southern Baptist, the other feller (I can't remember his name )he's Anglican.

Oh yeah Thomas Jefferson ,raised a Anglican but later had no affiliation with them and is listed only as a Christian.

    God bless brother

  10. Wow!  I was mentioned in a thread, and did not even know it.  I do not read the majority of threads, but only those that "catch my eye."  The subject matter of this one did "catch my eye;" and what do I find . . .

Brother John, I wish to thank you for those kind and encouraging remarks concerning me.  It is ever my desire to present "that which is good to the use of edifying" in order that it may minister God's grace unto the readers.

Brother is there a place to find your. Book(s) I agree with brother John though I haven't read your books I have followed the topics that you have posted and have been blessed by each one.

    God bless

  11. To start with, regarding the debates, I didn't care for the "gotcha" questions the moderators asked which were clearly designed to place the candidates in a bad situation. I also didn't care for the attempts to get some of the candidates to go after one another. Questions such as that seem more like the moderators attempting make news rather than get at the issues.

That said, I think Carly Fiorina did well in the early 7 candidate debate. Rick Perry often seemed stuck on rehearsed lines and had a bit of a stumble in answering a question. A few of the others had either some decent answers or some decent personality that came forth, but not really both. Fiorina may have helped her candidacy but the others might not have helped themselves too much.

In the prime time debate it was obvious the moderators were out to get Trump, and to take some digs at a couple of the other candidates as well. Trump may have done well enough to please his core supporters but likely didn't win any new ones. Cruz and Huckabee sounded good, but at least in the case of Huckabee it seemed the people responded more to his personality than substance. This has been a big problem with voters for a long time now.

Some of the pundits say they think Rubio did well. Myself, I thought he did okay, but nothing outstanding. Rand Paul had a few good points but overall I don't think he came off well. Carson seemed a little sluggish until towards the end when he got some good ones in. Jeb Bush and Christ Christie were about like always, two liberal leaning Republicans trying to sound like conservatives.

We'll have to wait and see how things play out, some potential voters won't make up their mind until they listen to their favorite talking heads tell them what to think. Most of the candidates did okay, I didn't see any total fall downs or any "this is the one" moments. A few of the candidates did stand out to one extent or another. It's possible Fiorina, Cruz and Huckabee made some gains. Some of the other did well enough they may see a bit of gains too. It might be more interesting, and telling, to see who (if anyone) loses a lot of support.

Still a long ways to go in this election cycle so a lot can happen between now and the six months leading up to the caucus in Iowa in about six months.

Brother John have you ever though about being a reporter, this very well makes more sense then anything I've read in the news and well put together as well .thanks brother.

    God bless

  12.

MS has for years had hidden folders that collect you data , you would need to be a engineer to configure them to uninstall them but I have found out they don't like you to change their fire wall , I purchased ZoneLabs Business Fire wall for my office computers and MS tried changing back to theirs a few times conflicting with Zone Labs by trying to run the MS fire wall, I use Zone Labs on my personal computers which is free for non business uses and MS tried the same thing a few times, it appears that MS wants you to use the MS fire wall for some reason ? Makes you wonder what their up to.

  13. if I had a addiction it would be OB .

    Why I would.have this addiction.

    1. Brother Matt is a man of God.

2.The Moderators are all IFB Christians

    3. Fellowship in the Lord with the brethren.

I was once a member of facebook the owner is a atheist.

I was once a member of my Christian space the moderators were seers ,prophets, and the like.

I was once a member of another Baptist Form, in which fellowship was considered to be nothing more than backbiting, bitterness, debating, and anger.

Now considering the fact that the above have viruses ,links to to porn and other ungodly things ,and collect your data selling it ungodly people and one would take thought that someone would have a addiction to OB then so be it,

For what Fellowship does the Lord our God have to with such.

    God bless

  14. Thanks for all that info folk.

I had an invite to register to upgrade, but MS said not all Win 7 or 8 machines will be able to upgrade. I haven't tried yet.

i don't how long its been since you got this info but I read in PC mag.a couple weeks ago that MS has decided to give win 10 to everyone free. But its only the upgrade not a OEM , if you got the invite you should be able to get thto upgrade MS is sending a tool through your updates it will put a icon on your screen ,when you open it you run it to see if your system can run 10. Once its run the check it will send the info to MS and MS will send you the upgrade via updates when they send it a icon for the download will appear on your screen or your task bar. Click it and you're on your way.the upgrade is nice but I believe the OEM installed in the new computers will be far better it'll have a lot more then the upgrade has. Brother I hope this helped.

  15.

Windows 8 caused so many problems on this computer I had to go back to 7. This computer is a few years old so I'm passed due on needing a new one.

These companies create continuous sales by making sure each new product, update and such requires more power, more space and specific specifications to run properly, or at all. I don't know how those into the high end gaming manage. I've read that each popular new game requires so much more from the computer than the previous version, serious gamers have to buy new computers often in order to meet the system demands of their favorite games.

Even since the fiasco of trying to run this on Windows 8, I've had problems with Internet Explorer, so I downloaded Firefox. Oddly enough, Firefox works better for most things except for watching videos (if someone posts a YouTube video I often have to switch to IE in order to watch it). Yet for some reason, on what should be more simple tasks, IE will drag. Strange.

Got that brother, my wife's laptop is less than two years old and the CPU is going bad HP chose to solder the CPU in and not a snap in, my son Justin is Tech and he says it will 300.00 fix.

if you're having trouble with your media player open control and at the top you'll see security there a link to open tools, click on it and when the windows opens on the left top corner click "All" this will open a list of tools close to the bottom you see media library click to open when it opens at the bottom left corner check Repair ,click run. It will scan for troubles and repair them. If it can't it tell you what the problem is. It sounds like you may have a corrupt library .if this the case you'll need to reinstalled media player.there's a lot of other tools on the list you should run one is IE, it scan for problems and repair them . Also brother when you did the reinstall of win 7 IE may not have configured right. Which could also be causing some problems.if you try this and it don't work ill try and help you to reset IE and change it to Firefox,. If its not been changed..firefox has some very good tools that will resolve some problems as well.i hope this will get you going good.

    God bless brother.

  16. After the problems I encountered trying to upgrade from 7 to 8 on this computer I'm hesitant to think of upgrading. However, I am considering purchasing a new computer which I would like to have Windows 10 if I do.

brother if you've got 8.1 you should get the download free, check your updates and you should find it there .when you install the update it will install a icon on your screen ,click on it and it will check your system to see if it is capable to run 10 If it is MS will send you the download. But if your computers older then two years you may won't to look into buying a new one, its sad the money we spend on these things they should be made to last longer then two years,

    God bless brother

  17. The real insidious part of this invasion of privacy thing is that most think: "But I'm not doing anything wrong, so what if the government knows?"  The insidious part is that what is ok today may very well be illegal, or get you thrown in prison in the future.

Laws change daily and new laws crop up depending on who is offended by what. Oh, and don't forget "executive orders" from a president what cares nothing about our constitution or freedoms.

    Amen

I have tried about 20 times to upgrade to Windows 10 without success.

I keep getting a error after it takes hours to download.  Error 0x80070003.  (sometimes 0x80070057)  I follow the steps to resolve the problem, restart the computer and the update, only to run into the same problem.

    Rinse, Lather, Repeat.  LoL

Linda was able to download and install it on her PC with no problems.

I've read that MS is suppose to have a hot fix for this problem, you may be able to check your updates and find and install it, if you go to MS techs you'll be wasting your time, try Tomshardware if I remember correct this is where I read about these error codes and the hot fix download, I hope this will help you out brother

    God Bless
