  1. If I understand correctly a fossil can be carbon dated because it was once organic, but say a flint rock cannot be. However lava rocks can be dated because they consumed organic material while in liquid form. Unlike God's information, this may have changed in last 10 years or so due to some kind of new test or theory.

  2. It takes thousands of years to make a fossil. Yet, they dug up fossilized hardtack from the civil war.

According to the same people the earth is 4.5 billion years old and space is 13.5 billion years. A 9 billion year gap.

A 4.27 billion year gap then a dinosaur was found that lived 228 million years ago. Its very odd because the first dinosaur appeared only 65 million years ago. Its bones must have traveled back in time to create this large gap.

Finally man appears 200,000 years ago and about 6,000 years ago civilization started. Another large gap.

We need at least 10,000 years for a bone to fossilize. So 4,000 before civilization the La Brea Woman was ceremonially buried by Indians who had no civilization and her bones turned into a fossil.

Page Museum says she is only 9,000 years old, giving us yet another gap in how long it takes to make a fossil.

Going away from Genesis leads into madness.

As I am sure you know, ants, like most insects, don't do very well in the cold. But ants are always around in the spring when the weather warms up, so how are they surviving the winter? In general, the temperature underground is quite a bit higher than the air temperature. Ants take advantage of this by moving deeper underground in the winter. Some ant nests can be over 15 feet (4.57 meters) below ground level. They can also stay warm by grouping close together and sharing body heat. And ants in places where it is too cold to gather food during the winter may store food in their colonies and fill their crops (an extension of the gut used to store food and water) so that they do not starve.

So generally, ants hibernate during the winter, moving deep underground, grouping together, and generally limiting activity to conserve energy. Ants that live in particularly cold climates, like Leptothorax canadensis from Québec, Canada, and New England, USA, produce their own biological antifreeze so that the water in their bodies does not freeze. These ants are sometimes exposed to temperatures below -20° C (-4° F) but are able to survive even long cold winters by combining all of these methods for staying warm.

Proverbs 6:6 ¶ Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:

6:7 Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,

6:8 Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.

6:8½ ....... for decades to come

6:9 How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?

6:10 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:

6:11 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.

6:11½ .... and for the last 7 years at the end of time, which you don't know when the end of time will begin, so just start saving now.

  4. ¶ Simon Peter sayd vnto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Iesus answered him, Whither I goe, thou canst not follow me now: but thou shalt follow me afterwards.

Uerily, verily I say vnto thee, whē thou wast yong, thou girdedst thy selfe, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carie thee whither thou wouldest not.

19 This spake hee, signifying by what death he should glorifie God. And when he had spoken this, he sayth vnto him, Follow me. 1611 King James Bible

Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.

19 This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me. 1769 King James Bible

I don't think I've ever heard anyone say Peter wasn't going to live to see the rapture when preaching Acts 2. All I've heard and read Peter thought (mind readers) Jesus was coming at any second and had no clue Jesus would stay away for his whole lifetime.

  5. John 3:11 “Uerely, verely I say vnto thee, We speake that we doe know, and testifie that wee haue seene; and yee receiue not our witnesse.” 1611 King James Version (KJV)

John 3:11 “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.” King James Version (KJV)

Ye being You all, who is Jesus referring to while taking to Nicodemus?

    Nicodemus a Man (mankind)

    Nicodemus an Israeli,

    Nicodemus a Levite,

Nicodemus a ruler in the Sanhedrin,

    Nicodemus a Pharisees

Adding the poll seemed to lock the thread so no one could reply.

    ISIS' Ramadan terror campaign

(CNN)In the past several days, ISIS has conducted lethal suicide attacks in Jordan, Lebanon, Yemen, Bangladesh and also, very likely, in Turkey.

What would happen if Christians started killing people for Jesus at Christmas or Easter? The hate for Jesus would be unbelievable.

Even witches don't killed people for the devil on Halloween.

Why don't we have Muslims leaving western nations to go and fight against these devils? Would our Army train those men so they could stop ISIS?

  8. Matthew 26:7 There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat.

Mark 14:3 And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head.

John 12:3 Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.

All three say it was in Bethany. All three agree Jesus spoke up for the woman's act of kindness.

Matthew and Mark tell it was in Simon's (the leper) house. Also they agree it was an alabaster box.

Mark and John agree it was worth three hundred pence. Also they agree it was spikenard.

Matthew and John was there and they disagree. They agree he was anointed, why do they disagree on the bodily location?

  9. And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.

12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.

13 Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

Who but Jesus knew this? The same could happen again while we are looking for Rome.

  10. Codex Vaticanus contains the false Roman Catholic apocryphal books such as Judith, Tobias, and Baruch, while it omits the pastoral epistles (I Timothy through Titus), the Book of Revelation, and it cuts off the Book of Hebrews at Hebrews 9:14 (a very convenient stopping point for the Catholic Church, since God forbids their priesthood in Hebrews 10 and exposes the mass as totally useless as well!).

Codex Sinaiticus includes the apocryphal books (Esdras, Tobit, Judith, I and IV Maccabees, Wisdom, Ecclesiasticus) plustwo heretical writings, the Epistle of Barnabas and the Shepherd of Hermas. The apocryphal Epistle of Barnabas is filled with heresies and fanciful allegorizing, claiming, for example, that Abraham knew Greek and baptism is necessary for salvation. The Shepherd of Hermas is a gnostic writing that presents the heresy that the "Christ Spirit" came upon Jesus at his baptism.

Wow, I thought junk like that only happened in modern times.

  11. But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Has our knowledge of God's word increased? In the Holy Bible knowledge is spiritual. Because Daniel wrote "time of the end" many people have turned knowledge into carnal things, airplanes, cars, smart phones, etc. and excluded the spiritual.

    For example:

Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill. & Deuteronomy 5:17 Thou shalt not kill.

    vs

Thou shalt not murder? I hear that one a lot.

  12. 9 hours ago, John Young said:

The KJV was the perfection of all the bible that came before it and today is the final English product of the TR bible translating Philosophy.

Brother John why did they not use the TR for the NKJV?
