    "And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn." Zechariah 12:10.

    Israel mourns because when they see Him return, they realize they have, to this point, rejected their Messiah. The others mourn because, probably, they finally realize how much trouble they're in. Why 'from heaven? Well, perhaps poetic language-why four winds? Both representing from all over, wherever they may be.

    That's another verse that confuses me.

    I might start a new thread for this verse, I do not want to hijack brother Jordan's thread.

    29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

    30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

    31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

    With "his" being the Son of man, which is how Jesus referred to himself, what persons or peoples did Jesus choose?

    All the tribes of the earth would include the descendants of Israel. Why are Israelis mourning if they are his elect?

    Why are the Angels gathering his elect in the winds? Why are the Angels gathering his elect in Heaven? Why doesn't it say "of earth"?

  3. I have to be off line again for a few days, but I'll be back hopefully next week.

    Do you think Jesus was talking about when the beast is ruling from Israeli? And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; Revelation 16:10?

  4. John 9:4 I must worke the workes of him that sent me, while it is day: the night commeth when no man can worke. 1611 King James Version

    John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. Authorized King James Version

    When is the night when no man can work? We know during the last tribulation the 144,000 are working for Jesus, and the 2 witnesses are working for Jesus.

    Even when Jesus was dead he was working on saving the old testament saints.

  5. If I understand it correctly, this is the army in Revelation 9:16. The 200 million man cavalry. 300,000,000 gallons or 1,100,000,000 liters of human blood will fill the valley. 2,460,000,000 gallons or 10,900,000,000 liters of horse blood will fill the valley.

    The laws of those modern countries do not allow christian missionaries. So all or almost all of those young men will go to hell. That has hit my heart very hard. I keep thinking of that verse "hell hath enlarged herself".

  6. Have you men read something that explains why doesn't Egypt and Saudi Arabia do not join the fight against Israel?

    After 2000 of reading the Bible why doesn't the Antichrist change his plans? Does the strong delusion come upon him too?

    In verse 43, Daniel describes how the Libyans and the Ethiopians enter the battle from behind the army of the Antichrist when the Antichrist moves from Egypt to set up base camp in Israel. The Antichrist will move after he hears rumors from the north and the east that indicates the Russian alliance (described in Ezekiel 38:1–12) is coming. Ezekiel 38:1–23, Ezekiel 39:1–8, and Jeremiah 25:14–38 provide additional details of the war occurring during the time of the red horse of the apocalypse.

    Eric do you think the map correctly details the locations?

  8. Haran, and Canneh, and Eden (עֵדֶן-Eden), the merchants of Shebah, Asshur and Chilmad were thy merchants.

    Thou hast beene in Eden (עָדַן-Aden) the garden of God; euery precious stone was thy couering, the Sardius, Topaze, and the Diamond, the Beril, the Onyx, and the Iasper, the Saphir, the Emeraude, and the Carbuncle and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee, in the day that thou wast created.

    The Hebrew uses two different words, but ancient English translated them as only one word.

    The blood will be to the neck of the horses so I believe the swords will cut the heads to the base of the necks of the army of the antichrist as it says in Habakkuk 3:10-13.

    Habakkuk 3:13 Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thine anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.

    the head out of the house of the wicked     or       the head of the body

    How was he wounded? "by discovering the foundation unto the neck"

    Does by discovering mean decapitation? "  by discovering  h6168   עָרָה `arah"

    The KJV translates Strongs H6168 in the following manner: uncover (3x),discover (3x), emptied (2x), rase (2x), leave destitute (1x), make naked (1x),poured out (1x), poured (1x), spreading (1x).

    1) Leviticus 20:18 And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered H6168 her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.

    2) Isaiah 3:17 Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover H6168 their secret parts.

    3) Habakkuk 3:13 Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thine anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering H6168 the foundation unto the neck. Selah.

    So we see it does not mean decapitation.

    Psalm 149:4-9 It will be the honour of the saints to execute vengeance on the heathen.

    Was the command in Psalm 149 to kill the heathen?

    6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;

    7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen,and punishments upon the people;

    8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

    9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

    The judgment was to bind them with chains and fetters of iron. Where does it say vengeance = death? Where does it say punishments = death?

    That is what I said. Jesus will speak and the saints will kill the army of antichrist.

    Revelation 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

    21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

    4.  He was “the anointed cherub” that covered the throne of God. (Ezekiel 28:14)

    How do you know he covered God's throne? Is it because cherubs covered the mercy on the ark? Exodus 25:20

  13. I see Habakkuk couldn't prove your point that this was end of times prophecy, so you jumped to Ezekiel for an unrelated reference.

    God will revive his work with Israel in the midst of the tribulation years see Ezekiel 39:6-8.

    By the above comment you've said God isn't working with Israel. All the wars in the last 69 years, God wasn't working with Israel? Becoming a nation again, God wasn't working with Israel? Almost 1900 years in exile, and God wasn't working with Israel?

    Finally in the last 3.5 years God will revive His work with Israel?

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Now back to Habakkuk, what was his time frame?
    Hab 1:6  For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not theirs.
    I raise up the Chaldeans   or    I raise up Magog
    It is past tense because God had given him the prophecy for the future already.
    Habakkuk 3:2
    2 O LORD, I have heard
    thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.
    revive thy work in the midst of the years    or      revive thy work at the end of the years
    in the midst of the years make known     or     at the end of the years make known
  15. In the four gospels dates are not given for Jesus death.
    We have the High Sabbath which was Passover and Sabbath. We guess there was a preparation day between the two Sabbaths giving us three days and three nights.
    Jesus died at the end of the High Sabbath's preparation day. = start or 0
    The High Sabbath = 1st night and 1st day
    The weekly or normal Sabbath's preparation = 2nd night and 2nd day
    The weekly Sabbath = 3rd night and 3rd day
    First day of the week, Sunday, Jesus rose from the dead
    The Scriptures do not give us a list of weekly days and for some reason the men wrote it vaguely.  Personally I think it is written vaguely  to demand faith that Jesus was in the grave 3 nights and days.
